21  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO YA ! on: March 27, 2008 12:20:06 PM

hi everyone !

I went on a mini getaway this past week,
to visit family in HK.    Smiley
(sorry if I seemed neglectful).

made with 100% recycled garments:

how do you feel about the ballet collar (as opposed to high) ?

and 2 others I really like...

22  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO goes snowboarding ... on: March 06, 2008 05:08:12 PM

hi everyone  Smiley

just wanted to share a few new
reconstructions I did with secondhand textiles.

I choose to work with this medium
firstly for its 'vintage' charm,
and secondly ...  because it's eco friendly !

this last one is inspired by my new hobby,  SNOWBOARDING !
after a night of snow, ice and wipe-outs
...  afterwards, my favorite thing to do is cozy up in soft cotton
and sip hot chocolate.

where do you get inspirations from?

23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO sounds like a horse .... on: February 21, 2008 01:48:49 PM
hi everyone  Smiley

i apologize for the brief hiatus.
like 80% of the rest of the population, i was ill with a nastay cold.
i sound like a horse, but i moved like a turtle.  Sad

i know some of these styles are very familiar,
it's because i wanted to attempt the designs again,
and those are, i guess...  Joodito signatures.  Smiley

isn't it interesting how color palette alone
can change the personality of a garment?

24  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / a spin on the high collar ... on: February 07, 2008 06:28:45 PM

hi everybody!

I tweaked with the signature high collar...
and came up with something quite exciting!
LOOK I'll show you !

it's like a demi-hood,
because the shaped reminded me of one...
I named it the Lotus.    Smiley

this color palette was inspired by
the Dalai Lama.

I know I work closely with monochromes
but this week, I experimented with
bold colors  +  color contrasts.

whaddoyoofink?    Grin

25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO sans high collar, 2nd attempt on: January 31, 2008 02:51:03 PM
hi everyone   Smiley

as promised.

and my signatures...
(sorry, I couldn't resist)   Kiss

or would you like to see more sans?  (I may have ideas..... Roll Eyes)

26  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO omg... NON-high collar ? on: January 24, 2008 07:01:48 PM

27  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO do you think I should ... on: January 17, 2008 08:40:33 PM

my brother visited today,  Smiley
he diligently inspected my work
and giggled to himself.

i looked over
and he said... and i quote,
"were you high on drugs when you made these"?

he was kidding.  Grin

LOL
but i thought it was the funniest thing ever,
i almost fell off my chair in laughter.

i'm thinking of trying my hand at *gasp*... non-high collars.
what do you think?

will i lose my identity?

29  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO tunics or micro minis ?? on: December 20, 2007 07:13:36 PM

hi everyone!  Cheesy

I've been a lil obsessed with
tunic bodices.
I really dig this one in particular...

one below has a convertible collar,
held up with a single fat snap.

have you worked with the other type of snap buttons?
one where you need to punch a hole in fabric to adhere?
what are they called?    Huh

30  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / JOODITO 50% hot cocoa . on: December 13, 2007 04:14:37 PM

i made this jumbo cowl
in a 2-faced palette
for aesthetic interest
and convertibility.   Smiley

(high collars..   j'adore).

like as is?
or prefer with closure?
