I'm happy to see you are painting. I like this. It makes me think of a waistband... death by waistbands. The first thing that I thought though was that it needs more paint. Be free. I had a teacher who would say, " Paint can be sexy". One thing that about the minimalist movement to keep in mind is how it was known for being more of what you see is what you get. Kind of like the dada movement. So it doesn't neccesarily need to have a message of anything you can just call it an experiment. If you are trying to make it more minimal you can use medium to do washes of color over. you used acrylic? <3



yup.  i used acrylics.

this is the result of layers + layers of paint,
the negative space was achieved by stripping away the paint
by several techniques with which I was experimenting.
