inspired by the sterile aesthetics of medical labs and asylums .

2  do you believe in love ? in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by JOODITO on: February 19, 2009 10:54:24 AM
i really dig the secure feeling
of a hood hugging my delicate neck
(independent on whether i decide to wear it up or not ...).

... and i like to wear my clothes pretty snug;
which created this lovely dilemma
of how to preserve the feeling (and look)
of the favorite part of my hoodies,
without looking like a stuffed turkey.

i was inspired.

yup .
these are constructed with recycled materials  Smiley

6  my first big girl painting... in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by JOODITO on: October 22, 2008 08:54:14 AM
hi errbody Smiley

i usually post under the reconstructed clothing section
of craftster.org

... whelps here goes something new.

when i started this piece
my intentions was to produce something abstract and minimal.
alas, the result is different from what i expected.

i see emotions.
what message does this convey to you?

7  JOODITO do you think I should ... in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by JOODITO on: January 17, 2008 08:40:33 PM

my brother visited today,  Smiley
he diligently inspected my work
and giggled to himself.

i looked over
and he said... and i quote,
"were you high on drugs when you made these"?

he was kidding.  Grin

but i thought it was the funniest thing ever,
i almost fell off my chair in laughter.

i'm thinking of trying my hand at *gasp*... non-high collars.
what do you think?

will i lose my identity?

8  JOODITO monochrome and textures... in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by JOODITO on: November 15, 2007 06:29:08 PM

hi everyone!

this week
i favor more of a mono-chromatic palette,
playing with textures instead.

here's what i completed...

i really adore the marriage of these two colors,
a weathered olive and dusty plum...

i know traditionally jackets are usually long sleeves,
but i  decided to do princess puffs for this...
i think meshes well with a fitted long sleeve tee underneath, for a layered look.

Thanksgiving is Thursday, in a week from today!    Shocked
WORD,   happy thanksgivin yall!

in your most honest opinion,
which best describes your feelings for JOODITO ?

1. this is style.

2. over the top, this belongs in a museum somewhere...

3. seen better at the mall.

4. i like it, but it's not for me.

10  JOODITO made a dress ! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by JOODITO on: November 01, 2007 08:22:14 AM
hi everyone   Cheesy

first of, i would like to thank everyone who took the time to comment on my previous posts.
you offered some original ideas for future projects.your generosity is sincerely appreciated, thank you.

i wanted to share my attempt at a babydoll mini...ruffle, mismatched buttons and belt

(actually, i debated between a hood and a high collar...
alas, the collar won because i though it would make the look more unique)

here's another project with the incorporation of stripes,  (gold and raw denim) ...

a signature;  epaulets and modified kanga pocket.
