31  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / HELP FOR NEWBIES ON POSTING PICS!!!! on: August 29, 2007 10:00:36 AM
well i really have no clue where to post this stuff, so i'll say it here....

i keep reading posts that have links to the pictures. after the links the people say that they can only post links because they are newbie. i only started on here a month ago but i posted my first project which had pics and i got them to post fine, well except the white space which i didn't realize i did because of stupid place i pasted my pics before saving them.

to get your pics to post properly use photobucket. thats what i did, then i clicked the image thing in posting and i went to photobucket, went to the image, copied the direct link and put it between the little image things on here, and posted it worked fine except the white space which was my fault.... heres an example doing what i said, it should work fine Smiley

see apart from the empty white space which i did because i pasted the pic in microsoft word before uploading to photobucket, it worked fine. Smiley now i hope if you are newbie and have read this it will help and maybe your pics will post Smiley. it may work with other photo hosting sites but i don't know. it depends if they have something that says direct link... try it out, maybe it will work and you won't have to post links

HOPE THAT HELPED! Cheesy
32  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Bag HELP! on: August 26, 2007 01:24:28 PM
help!!!!!!!!!!

well i'm starting school the tuesday after the one this week. i really want to make a cool tote bag, but i can't find a tute that is straight forward, or a fabric that will work. i need a few suggestions on fabrics, and the link to a good tute would be lovely. i don't want a bag too big, but it needs to be able to hold at least two, 1'' binders. ANY help is appreciated!

please help me!
Thank you all in advance for any help you can shed on the situation
33  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / tee shirt pleated skirts :) on: August 24, 2007 01:45:34 PM
well after fonally getting my camera fixed i decided to post a project i was working on. i sat around a few days ago and found this stripey material that had once been the making of some pillow cases. i turned it into this...

the top of the skirt is not yet hemmed because i ran out of white thread.

this is a matching shrug, that hasn't been hemmed at the bottom, and the front. i still didn't have any white thread.

this is a green and black skirt i made as well. the green is actually really bright but you can't tell in the pic.

hope you all liked them Smiley. sorry for the crappy pics of the skirts, cause they aren't ironed yet XD. very very sorry about the empty white space. i'm still working out the bugs, as this is my first real post like with pics Smiley
34  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / mens navy blue golf shirt to babydoll/ empire waist top? on: August 17, 2007 01:34:04 PM
HELP!!!!

this is my very first post here on craftster. I started browsing a few weeks ago, and decided to make an account. I came across a mens XXXL golf shirt on a clearance rack for $3. So naturally i tilted my head and thought * i could use that*

So i bought it, and now i am trying to figure out if it would look good as a babydoll or empire waist top. It is like the material used for shirts for uniforms, if they look like golf shirts, and the kind of shirts men wear when golfing. The colour is navy blue.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, as i think it would be a good colour on an empire waist top as i have become pretty much addicted to them.
