11  The Hide HAT (pattern now included!) in Crochet: Completed Projects by Chel02 on: December 03, 2007 05:40:39 PM
One evening as i sat online talking to my friend, she came across this picture of one of the musicians we like. He was wearing this amazing hat, and she wanted it. The hide hat was born. I created the pattern myself and attempted to replicate the hat although i feel i did an aweful job but she likes it Smiley I named it the hide hat because the person this hat was on is named hide Smiley Here is a picture of the original hat...

my terrible attempt on my friend Brooke who i made it for Smiley and look at the lovely diren grey shirt which i love Smiley the picture on the shirt is cut off but let me tell you it is one amazing shirt Tongue

well thats all for now Smiley tell me what you think because comments and criticism are always welcome!

Whip stitch the top of the hat and sew the tassels on. Thats all! You can also fold the bottom of the hat up if it is too tall

Hope you all understand my pattern I made it pretty easy. Please post your work when you finish Id love to see it

15  HATS GALORE! in Crochet: Completed Projects by Chel02 on: November 12, 2007 05:25:12 PM
well i decided to make my friend leah a giraffe hat, and once i gave it to her it seemed that everyone at school wanted a hat. i sell them for 10$ because i need to buy materials and my time of course, but anywho... here are a few i've done so far Smiley oh and sorry for dark pictures...

those are of a mouse hat for my friend steph. and leahs giraffe hat.

these two are not for anyone, they are a cookie monster hat, and a bear hat... i made them when i was bored...

these are a black with pink edged hat i made in spare time today, and a dark brown with light brown bear hat for my friend erin.

i hoped you liked them Smiley and sorry again for dark pictures.... comments and criticism greatly appreciated because these are the very first crocheted things i have done... ( i started kinda big with ym first project being a hat before i even knew how to dc....) Grin

lots of patience=masterpiece!
this is the quilt my mom made for my dads sister. It tok quite a long time. I remember going to the fabric store and spending LOTS of money ;P this quilt took probably around a year. I'm sort of sad to see it go. The quilted part is called puzzlepieces. Well i don't have too much else to say so onto the pictures!

17  i don't know what to call it but i made it :D in Completed Projects by Chel02 on: September 29, 2007 08:41:58 AM
well i bought this small sewing kit to toss in my purse for those little malfunctions that happen sometimes. it was all in this little plastic case that once my brother opened it it broke...

at first i was angry but then i decided to make a new case. i actually like it better because it has pockets that i can tos stuff in and it seems easier to use...
well onto the pics!

i'm thinking of using the big open spot as a pin and needle holder...

second pocket

there are 4 pockets. i also made a pink one for my mom cause she wanted one, and she had it at my grandmas and my grandma wants one for her money, but with a snap instead of a bow.... we'll have to wait and see how that turns out Smiley

comments and criticism are appreciated

sorry the pics are so huge...

18  spotty circle bag! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Chel02 on: September 23, 2007 11:34:59 AM
i had some left over spotty material from a small tote i made before. i wanted to try a circle bag. this one has two thick staps, and 2 small pockets. it does not have a closer but that didn't matter to me. i have used it all week so was too lazy to take my stuff out. but here it is...

19  tote for school :) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Chel02 on: September 23, 2007 11:32:07 AM
i needed a bigger tote for school annd wanted a red one so after rummaging through countless drawers of fabric i came up with a bag. the outside is a red canvasy material, and the inside is black vinyl. it can be reversible but i prefer to have the vinyl facing in...

hanging up. there is a pocket on either side of the bag, they aren't quite visible in the pic...

inside. there are 2 pockets on the inside. i use one for my book, and the other for my glasses case.

20  cell phone holder! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Chel02 on: September 23, 2007 11:28:31 AM
so my mom is always complaining about not being able to find a small enough cell phone holder. i was feeling sick this morning and saw the bottoms of a pair of pants i had, and thought to myself
*those would work for a cell holder*
i grabbed them and without measuring the cell first i started cutting. i was too lazy to use the sewing machine so i hand sewed it. lucky for me the size was perfect. i also found some snaps in my drawer and decided to try those so, after hammering my thumb, stabbing myself with needles countles times, getting angry because i couldn't find the right snap and my cat steeling my scissors later i got this...
