I may have let out a girly squeal of delight upon seeing the preview picture of your bag- it's fantastic! You've done Wah Chang proud. Grin
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Upcycled Spoon Jewelry! Yay! on: July 12, 2010 04:20:50 AM
Your work is amazing. Love it! Grin

First I find me some solid sterling silver spoons with pretty designs, which is way harder than it sounds.

I know it kind of defeats the whole upcycling thing, but have you ever tried taking impressions of pretty flatware and then using them to mould replicas out of PMC?
3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Rainbow shoes to match my rainbow bike! on: June 08, 2010 09:30:00 PM
Those are flipping amazing! My Roy G Biv daughter would go absolutely nuts for them. Grin
4  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: oyster mushroom & leek quiche on: June 07, 2010 03:45:53 AM
That looks amazing. Grin Mum is allergic to eggs (severe migraines- eurgh), so I might just have to try this out on her. Weight-wise, how much tofu did you use? Around here, 'one pack' could mean anything from 100g to 750g. Smiley
5  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Plastic garden netting? on: May 12, 2010 06:13:38 PM
Fix it to the ceiling and attach several strings of fairy lights using cable ties to make your very own virtual starfield.
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: belt waist-corset thing NOW WITH TUTORIAL! img heavy on: April 29, 2010 02:33:21 AM
Thank you sooo much for posting a tute! Grin I am going to a steampunk club next month and was trying to figure out just how on earth to make a cincher just like this one.
7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Who ya gonna call? on: April 13, 2010 10:57:34 PM
I was able to tell exactly who it was the moment I saw the preview pic on the front page. Love it!  Smiley

Egon was one of my earliest childhood crushes.

Wow, this is absolutely beautiful! Your swap partner will be dead chuffed when they get their gift. Grin
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: string art boat on: April 01, 2010 04:17:05 AM
Wow... I haven't seen string art for literally decades. This reminds me of the billiard room under my grandparents' long-demolished house... it had an old 1950s lounge room setting, smelled like dust and machine oil and was forever being invaded by possums and clock spiders.

That said, I'm totally digging your artwork.  Grin

So simple, yet incredibly elegant. Love it!  Grin
