1  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Stained Glass!? on: January 25, 2008 11:22:53 PM
I'd love to start doing some stained glass... Does anyone know of any absolutely beginner books/DVD's/websites that I could look at to teach me the basics? Theres a woman in my area that teaches classes on stained glass for $100 but I don't have a baby sitter and my DH doesn't want me to spend money on that...  Sad Any tips would be helpful! Also, how much space would I ideally need to get started?
2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / How long is ground turkey good for? on: December 18, 2007 09:10:36 AM
I made some spagetti the other night and added some ground turkey to it but I only used half the pack of turkey. I put the rest in the fridge in a zip loc bag and its uncooked. How long is it good for? The expiration date is today and I put it in the fridge the night before last... Does anyone know if its still okay to cook and eat it? I'm a bit of a worrier when it comes to food lol.
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Please help me find this! I know I saw it somewhere! on: November 04, 2007 02:43:53 PM
I'm looking for this cute all blue kids (maybe toddler) mohawk style knitted hat. I know I saw it somewhere but I've looked everywhere and I can't find it. I'm not even sure if it had a pattern with it I just want to see if I can find a pic of it at least. Its like a baby blue color and it has a short blue mohawk on the top. I will be SO happy if you can find this for me I'm at my wits end!!!

I told my friend that I would make this scarf for her however I'm having a hard time with the hole part. How do I make the hole part where the scarf feeds through and then join back up to finish the scarf? Anyone know? Thanks in advance.  Smiley

5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Mod Podge Question! Please help! on: October 17, 2007 03:33:10 PM
This is my first time using Mod Podge and I was wondering can I use like a glue stick or something to hold the paper on the box I am making? I am covering a paper mache box with decorative paper. Also, how long does it take for mod podge to dry? I'm using Mod Podge Gloss. I asked in the store what would be best for this project and the person suggested Mod Podge but didn't say I needed a sealer. Do you think it will be okat without one?
