1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / beginner question about stockinette stitch! on: September 18, 2009 02:08:19 PM
i'm a new knitter working on the cabled newsboy cap from stitch 'n bitch.  does "work 1 rnd even in st st." mean to do two rounds of knit?  i'm working in the round and i think working one round even would mean to do two rows of stockinette, which in the round would just be two rows of knitting?  but then i wonder why they don't just say that.  any help is appreciated.

hey guys!

i've been on a headband making kick these days!  this one is made from a really great african-print fabric with faces of all shapes, sizes, and colors.



these headbands are made from recycled t-shirts.  they're great because they're super stretch so they fit a wide variety of heads.  also, the felt embellishments are made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, so they're very eco-friendly.





these next two are made from a great stretchy argyle patterned fabric.  i made one skinny and one wide.
