1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Adult size onesie/kigurumi on: August 23, 2012 10:39:13 AM
There's this tutorial on Instructables, though the guy called it a "snuggie" character costume...It kind of made me cringe when he called it a "snuggie", because it's way cuter than a snuggie. Hope it helps you!

That is too cool!
Now I'm tempted to make my guy's brother one for his birthday (he's a priest who loves Monty Python).  Cheesy
That officially has to be the coolest priest ever.
This is awesome, and if I knew how, I would totally make two, one for each of my cousins, who both love Monty Python.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: 50's Swing dress for my pumpkin (TONS OF PICS)now with mini tute on 3rd page on: March 30, 2010 12:36:09 PM
The second one looks like the dress I bought from Pin-Up girl clothing, which I also wore on the Fourth of July! And your little girl is just so precious!!!!!  Grin
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Rainbow Patchwork Skirt on: August 10, 2009 11:27:19 AM
Actually, this skirt has inspired me to create a patchwork skirt of my own. And maybe a patchwork beach wrap, too. Ooh!!! I could make it out the towel scraps I've been saving as the towels getting old and falling apart. (When I see a washed towel that looks like it's falling apart, I cut off the piece that's going to fall off and save it!) Yay!!!! Now I'm bursting with new sewing project ideas! Thank you!!!! Grin

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: greeen polky dots rock...a. billy. on: August 04, 2007 04:48:45 PM
Hello!  i just finished this dress and i must say i love it...hence the goofy face/pose.  i was at target Mon. and saw this set of green sheets for only 12 bucks and i thought...hm...i need some new sheets and i love green.  But by the time I got home, I had all ready formed a new plan for my loverly green sheets.  at least one of them.  i painted the polka dots on myself, b/c i'm weird i guess.  but it was worth it.  actually, i still have to finish some on the skirt.  So, its my super awesome rock.a.billy green dress.  hope you like as much as i do!!!  thanks!
I know what dress you're talking about! This dress is EXACTLY like Rizzo's dress at the dance off in Grease, except hers was red.
Tres chic! Love it!
7  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Pink Lady? Frenchie always was my favorite... on: August 04, 2007 04:45:41 PM
Which of her hairdo's are you looking for? Normal red hair or her "Easter Egg" mishap hair? That is one of the funniest moments in the movie, I just love the look on Vi's face as she sees Frenchy pull the kerchief off of her hair. Brilliantly funny. I could find some nice pictures of her hair if you need to find a wig in that color.

9  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Mew Ichigo Cafe Uniform on: August 02, 2007 12:15:50 PM
What the... I had no idea that Tokyo Mew Mew was on Fox Kids!
I gotta check that out...
I love your costume... I want to make Berri's costume [from Tokyo Mew Mew a la Mode]
Don't bother, they cancelled it, and it suuuucked anyways......I love the original, it was way cuter, and it wasn't all about the lame cat jokes that the dub focused around.
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: help to make this dress? on: August 01, 2007 09:53:41 AM
Oh, the collar I might be able to help with!
go to http://vintagesewing.info/1940s/42-mpd/mpd-07.html#sailor And just nodify the pattern a little.....As for the skirt, I'm not sure, but, the bodice looks very fitted, so you may want to enlist the help of a friend on that, you'll need them to help you measure yourself.
