1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Personalized zipper pull on: January 14, 2008 04:07:12 AM
Ok, so I'm in the process of sorting through all my stuff as I will be moving soon, anyways, I came across one of my old ID's, didn't want to just chuck it and so I made a cute little zipper pull for my make up bag.

Here's the tute, its pretty self explanatory:
1.- Find old ID card, preferably one you don't need Smiley

2.- Cut out your picture or the portion you want to use

3.- With a nail and hammer make a hole at your chosen location, I chose the upper left corner.

4.- Use jump rings and add any beads you might want to enhance your piece. I took a section from a rosary and a lobster claw clasp

5.-Voila! You have a unique zipper pull, or you can make a pendant, keychain, etc.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Garter Belt, so easy and so sexy! *UPDATED Tute w Img (heavy) on: January 14, 2008 03:51:37 AM
I looked and I looked for a garter belt pattern around the web, but to no avail. So I had to do my own. I made sure to take photos along the way to post the tute.
This garter belt is all elastic, its super comfy and functional.
Here's the photos of the finished piece

This is the fabric I used, which I had purchased it at the 1.00 bin from WalMart, it was so pretty I bought a whole 10 yards with no real purpose other than it being pretty. Its very sheer, its a bit glittery long the designs ( had to tell on the pics).

I was wearing bulky sweats, and no I don't tuck my shirts in like that Smiley Just to show kinda how it looks.
