2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Multidirectional Diagonal Scarf help! on: August 13, 2005 08:34:55 AM
I think I am doing the short rows wrong. I never done them before this so its a new technique I am doing.
Thanks for the help though Smiley I'll give it a try again and take a pic if it comes out wrong again!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Multidirectional Diagonal Scarf help! on: August 12, 2005 09:27:54 PM
Hello all  Smiley

I am currently trying to work on the multidirectional scarf pattern located here: http://douma.net/Karen/knitting/Accessory-Scarves/Multidirectional_Diagonal_Scarf.htm

I've had to rip it out at least 5 times by now... due to the fact when i start the short rows it turns out
looking like a sock.. or stocking that you would hang up at Christmas time. I have no idea what I am
doing wrong either! Any tips on finishing this scarf would be helpful. Thank you in advance!

I love the butterfly one also. Maybe you could use a black streachy lace for the neck area?? That way you could dress it up or play it down .. however you want to wear it at the time Smiley

This is just a guess, but I bet you could make the huge hobo bag using Tinafish's wonderful tutorial. Located here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35575.0 Just double the size yardage she calls for Smiley
