41  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Bookmark Swap Round 3 Gallery of Bibliophilic Love on: September 17, 2010 06:41:07 PM
I'm late in posting receives, and my apologies to my swap partners for my tardiness.  Here is a beautiful bookmark from Onecrazymom.

She nailed me on the greens; I didn't mention it in the Q&A. And I love the quote on it.  Thank you so much!

Ohhh - Hippiekender, I did receive, but haven't had time to post.  Have another I received, and need to post that as well.  I'll catch up when I get home from work.  (I'm getting the eyeball, they think I'm shopping online.  LOL)

However, all bookmarks but one SENT.

Homerof2 crosstitched Tulips. One of my favorite flowers.  Did you order this thin plastic?  I looked at Michaels and Hobbly Lobby for some of this.

I picked it up at my local craft store and it was located right next to the plastic canvas.

I used to get rolls of it from Walmart too, in Canada.  But that was before they revamped their craft departments.

Homerof2 - I'm bringing the yours with me to show the folks at Michaels what I was looking for.  We had a huge in-store search when I was looking for it.  LOL

Onyxnox - Thats how I got it before too; in a roll.
45  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Film Reels and Boxes on: September 06, 2010 01:23:07 PM
Mail. Them. Here!

Just kidding.  You have a movie room?  My first thought was to mount them on a sturdy board, maybe painted silver or red.  (i like red) Or you could cover the board with fabric.  Then get a string of white lights and put them around the reels so they cast a glow.  Make sure you have the wire coming out the back for asthetics.  Hang it above your sofa or on some wall near an outlet.

Use the boxes for scrapbooking, atc's, or as more movie themed art in the room.

Unofficial Bookmark Swap

Pollyprissypants a felt bookmark with trees and flowers.

From Pureoath a nifty magnet bookmark.  Very creative thinking!

Two from Hippiekender.  One in use with moon and stars, and an awesome origami corner marker.

Very cool and many thanks!

Here is a lovely bookmark from Squire_inaria with celestial bookmark love.  The quote is "There they stand, the innumerable stars. Shining in order like a living hymn, written in light."
It's beautiful and thank you so much.

And from Cassiecate57, a polkadot delight corner bookmark, rocking a wonderful Vonnegut phrase,
 "So it goes."

I do love that paper!  Thank you, Cassiecate!

And Correlating - I missed your envelope this morning when I grabbed the stack to mail.  It will go out tomorrow. MAILED!

Received from a beautiful bookmark from Tero today with beads and an awesome moon charm.  This swap is like never-ending Christmas!  Tero, thank you; I love it.
