All I did was make a basic rectangle clutch with wristband and a simple flap with a button closure (along with some simple lines of contrasting threads). Really easy stuff...but it is these cute flowers that added the right punch!
And they are soooo easy to make, lets see if I can get this right for you....
1. Cut a fabric square approx. 2x the size you want your flower to be.
2.Fold the corners together to make a triangle (right sides together)
3. Sew a running stitch along the fold edge and one open edge (make the stitches different lengths between 1/4" and 1") Leaving long ends on thread at both ends.

It is important to vary size of stitches so your "petals" vary in size
4. Turn your triangle right side out and pulling on both ends of thread to form flower.
5. Once you have pulled the ends tight as you want and formed your flower tie the loose ends of string and fold raw edges under. and wah! lah!
After that step i pinned the flower to my bag and sewed in a spiral along flower to secure it and create a little more texture. I believe if you just want to have the flower you can either sew the raw edges together on the back or sew a piece of felt or other stiff fabric to it
