11  Bright pink scarf worked diagonally in Knitting: Completed Projects by italianchildhood on: November 04, 2007 09:02:35 AM
I never did this before, work diagonally, but I think it turned out nice, and I tried to give it some texture with the stitching I used. The stitching is the same on both sides, front and back so to speak.

12  Needlepoint pillow in bright colors with fleur-de-lys motif in Needlework: Completed Projects by italianchildhood on: September 16, 2007 03:40:32 PM
I made this a while ago and recently sort of decided I like it! I copied the fleur-de-lys motif from somewhere and made up the rest of the pattern myself. I like the citrusey colors.

13  Cream baby blanket that my baby never used... in Knitting: Completed Projects by italianchildhood on: August 11, 2007 10:38:22 AM
I made this for my son before he was born but then he never used it, it never seemed practical, but I like it and it's still sort of special to me.

It's all made with a zig-zaggy lacy stitch that I have to figure out all over again each time I use it.

14  Re: The latest thing I've made: a pink and green little purse ... in Crochet: Completed Projects by italianchildhood on: August 05, 2007 09:21:46 AM
I thought I would add a more detailed picture of the edging and handles to see if it is a little clearer how they're done, since I don't think I explained them very well.

15  The latest thing I've made: a pink and green little purse ... in Crochet: Completed Projects by italianchildhood on: August 03, 2007 03:21:02 PM
I just finished this and I thought I would post it right away, since I'm really getting into this. It's supercute, if I do say so myself...
The handle is a bit of a closure: the bigger handle slides into the smaller loop.

16  My stash of crochet cotton threads from eBay and yard sales in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by italianchildhood on: August 01, 2007 07:16:52 AM
Here is my stash of threads that I've collected from different places, mostly eBay and yard sales. I am always looking for projects for them...

17  Little crochet pillow in, I like to think, the colors of Provence in Crochet: Completed Projects by italianchildhood on: July 30, 2007 04:49:04 PM
I made a whole series of these pillows, in different color combinations and patterns. Some of this yarn was vintage so it's a bit uneven in color, which I like, although not everyone might. Thanks for letting me share this!

18  Little crochet pink and green purse in Crochet: Completed Projects by italianchildhood on: July 29, 2007 10:23:26 AM
These are the types of things I've been crocheting lately, little purses with (I try) pretty color combinations. Thank you for letting me share this!
