1  CLOTHING / Costumes: Discussion and Questions / Question about the Mad Hatters Coat Trim on: March 25, 2010 01:40:15 PM
So I'm currently in the middle of making the Mad Hatters coat from the new Tim Burton movie but I've come to a stand still now as I want to put the trim on the coat but I can't figure out what to use. You can see the trim really well in this photo, it's the one on the sleeve in burgundy/dark red, and any suggestions as to what I could use would be greatly appreciated!

9  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Packaging Masquerade Masks - Please help! on: July 29, 2007 03:06:51 PM
Thanks for the advice! I've discovered a mix of both air-packets and styrofoam peanuts will work a treat!
10  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Packaging Masquerade Masks - Please help! on: July 26, 2007 04:32:46 AM
Hi all, my first post (of many most likely) here and I have a burning question for you all.

I'm just setting up a website to sell my Masquerade Masks on and I'm trying to find out the best way of packaging them safely. Here are some photos of them so you can see what I'm trying to protect:

I've had a look at various cardboard boxes and whatnot but any advice on how to safely package them would be amazingly helpful as obviously the last thing I want is for the product to get to the buyer at the other end in pieces. I can't decide if those little 'air packets' will be alright or if I need polystyrene or if there's something I haven't yet found and explored.

Any help would be much appreciated!
