Very professional!  I appreciate how well the fabric squares have that random feel, but their placement feels well coordinated so nothing stands out uncomfortably.  And I love the choice of fabric too - says fun, fun, fun!

i love, love, love it!  Since when does an article of clothing have to be "practical?"  If you love it and you love wearing it and you feel wonderful in it - that's all that matters!   Wear it with pride!  You did a great job with it!

Very nice!  I agree the petticoat gives it a wonderful 50's kind of flair.   It will make a great wedding dress.

I checked the information in my fitting book "Fitting Finesse" by Nancy Ziemann (great book by the way.)  She says:  For woven fabrics, the minimum ease requirements to ensure a garment fits comfortably without binding are:  Bust - 3 to 4 inches; waist - 1/2 to 1 inch; and hip - 3 to 4 inches."  So yeah a little big, but do a  a muslin mock up or whatever first to check fit before cutting into your good fabric.
