1  Handknit 70's Inspired Dress in Knitting: Completed Projects by summer.birthday on: April 17, 2008 10:27:03 PM
I handknit this dress for a class I'm currently taking at NC State University. It took me about three weeks, during which I was completely out of touch with the world because I did nothing but knit. It's made out of Rowan wool/cotton in natural, purple, and blue colorways. I was inspired by 70's sport wear - I loved the colors and it is really really soft. I had to find a pattern to do the raglan because I'd never done that before, but the rest is entirely my own work and design.

The photo is me at my critique probably in the midst of explaining why and how I made it.
