3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Sugar! on: August 30, 2007 12:28:32 PM
I posted this over on the holidays board but thought I would try here also:

Can anyone suggest something that I can put onto fabric to look like sugar sprinkles?
I want to make some prim gingerbread men but want them to look sugery!
Ive looked at German glass glitter but I cant buy it here (UK) and it is quite expensive to get it shipped over.
Any help would be appreciated.

6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Another "felty" project! on: July 26, 2007 06:17:08 AM
I adore felt! I also adore kokeshi dolls so I had a go of making my own pattern and this is what I came up with. I managed to find a bundle of vintage ribbon in a flea market so I embellished it with that.

I sewed it onto a t-shirt

Ive just bought some pellon so will try that in future.
Im planning to do more, owls, dolls, skulls etc and sell them as transfers for bags tee's etc.
Im think im going to start on some felt christmas garlands next!
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Owl... a present for a teacher on: July 25, 2007 04:27:33 PM
My daughter has just left Primary school and had a really lovely teacher. Instead of the usual choc's or wine I decided to make something for her as a leaving gift. She adores owl's so I hand sewed these felt owls and sewed them onto a bag!

What do you think?
