how do you call this zipper technique, where you have kind of a box at the bottom where the zipper comes out? I'd love to learn it and am searching for a tutorial, but it is difficult without knowing what it's called... would appreciate any help on this!

your bag is really neat! Smiley

Thank you michellesangel! Whoa some of them have awesome features Smiley
I think the one with the ruffles probably would suit my figure best... I hope I can find the pattern somewhere, because I tried the whole day to whip something up myself and I have to say, what I got until now fits, but it's not really flattering in some "places" Wink

Thank you again!  Smiley

Hey folks Smiley

I hope you can help me here, I am getting really nervous. I went through all my burda magazines to find a decent dress I could wear to a wedding... but I didn't find anything I really like. Problem is, I am a size 44/46 (German size, would be about L or XL), but mainly because of a really big bust. Hips are rather small, waist is well... not really existent (just a little), so I need a dress that goes in under the bust and stays kind of narrow - but concealing slight "flabbyness" of the areas in between - down to the hips and then it could get wide again (I'm thinking godets). Want the back to be covered, at least most of it.
I think I could construct something myself but I neeeeeed inspiration for the bust part.
Do I make layers which are crossing, do I use one stripe of fabric etc. pp... I think I prefer a v-line around the decollet, and short sleeves or at least something to hide the quite flabby upper arms... aaaaah I desperately need inspiration. Do you have any ideas? I'd so appreciate it!

thanks, silver mom! I didn't actually use a pattern, I made wallets before after a pattern from burdastyle, but didn't like the thing exactly as it was, so I modified it to what I liked. I just start with the card-part and go from there Wink
