5  Old Costume >>>>Concert Skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by jimmyurine234 on: July 27, 2007 05:29:31 PM
i had a queen of hearts costume from a year or two back, i don't reuse costumes so i decided to cut it up. My favorite band is coming to my town FINALLY so i got my tickets way in advance,  so i decided to make a skirt to wear to the concert. At the last minute my dad decideds i need to visit him in south america tuesday the  concert is later that week it's killing me T.T anyways i still finished it maybe for another time? I might ask my friend who i was going with if she wants ot wear it.

The whole skirt is hand sewn so it took a bit of time.

this is a (kida old)pic of the band>>>

my skirt>>>

im twisted around to take a pic of the back so the bottom looks super uneven>>>>

this is my first go at a dress and im very very pleased. since i just made it up as i went, i hit a few problems(hence the middle ruffly parts now i like em though =)) it's made from an old yellow button down and a huge pair of striped pants. my next dress will deffiently have some more planning hah

the middle parts make the dress fold a bit and makes the bottom look quite uneven ..o well

..scary shaodw

9  Magazine & morsbag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by jimmyurine234 on: July 23, 2007 09:29:29 PM
this is my first try at purses so be kind ha.

i got the idea from rackycoo's post &tut
It's a magazine purse that i lined with some pin stripped fabric. i added some clasps so that it would close completly. I also added some wire handles.

The project of the month got me inspired but sadly i will be on vacation and in the country i'm going to computers are not always available. Since i won't be able to send it i decided to post it up and get some comments. www.morsbags.com
