331  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Baby Shower Gift Wagon on: August 12, 2004 11:48:57 AM
My favorite thing to do for baby showers is gift "baskets," except without putting the stuff in a real basket.  The most fun is to pile up inexpensive, cute gifts in something fun and functional, like this plastic toy wagon, which can hold baby's stuffed animals and toys until he's big enough to play with it.

Here's what I did:

I recreated the instructions from memory, so I hope I didn't miss any steps!

(Oops!  I just noticed that I did forget to put in there that you should sew up the lining hole!  Just don't forget to do it before you use your bag!)  Smiley

Thanks everyone.   Cheesy  The straps were an on-the-fly decision, but if I'd thought about it more, I would have made them heavier.  They need to be a little stiffer to carry well.  But it looks supercute when carried on the wrist.  Thanks again for all your great comments!

This is my first post!  Yay!

Here's a picture of a little bag I made from a little girl's tank top.

Here's the tank:

It's not perfect, but I think it's cute.   Smiley  (I don't think the pictures came out too well, though!)
