1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: Would a shelf look ok here? on: November 29, 2010 09:28:49 AM
I had the same problem.  To keep my frames from moving, I stuck one of the small clear (not foam!) 3M mounting squares on each of the bottom back corners of the frames.  I put the frames back on the wall, straightened them, then pushed against the bottom of the frame lightly so the squares would stick.  They're so light that they don't really stick all that hard to the wall, but they are "rubbery" enough to keep the frame from moving.  My frames haven't moved a millimeter since!

2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Baby Name Shadowbox on: November 22, 2010 04:57:36 PM
Our friends are expecting a baby Beatrix this spring, so my husband and I made this shadowbox featuring her name.

We cut the letters and baby bee parts out of scrapbook paper and mounted it on leaf-textured paper with round popup foam stickers.  Then we added pretty flower-and-rhinestone scrapbooking stickers and bee buttons.

5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Baptism Invitation on: September 08, 2009 05:31:10 PM
This is the invitation I made for my nephew's baptism.  I drilled a hole in the (real) shell, then attached a ribbon and a cross charm.  A note is attached to the back asking the recipient to save the shell to hang on their Christmas tree in remembrance of the baby's special day.

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Baby's First Rosary on: August 25, 2009 04:19:54 PM
I made this rosary for my nephew's upcoming baptism.  It was made using Swarovski crystal beads (the small ones are aquamarine, his birthstone), sterling silver round beads, a sterling silver rosary center and a platinum-plated cross.  It's personalized using sterling silver alphabet cubes with his initials.

Thanks!  I made the strip in Photoshop.  I didn't punch the sides because I printed it on transparency and you could see through them.

The letter stickers are Making Memories Black Tie stickers in pearl white.  I got them from Michaels.
