1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Pocket Belt!! <3 on: March 15, 2010 07:55:23 PM
I'm planning to attend a lot of summer festivals this year and in preparation I've started sewing costume-y things!

The first installment is this pocket belt, inspired by Alienskin: http://www.alienskin.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=24_31&products_id=3054

ETA: This is what I''m planning to wear with it. It's surprisingly difficult to take pictures of ones lower body!

2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Completed Projects / Skulls'n'Crosses on: August 06, 2005 07:31:49 PM
I've been wanting to try silk screening for a while and lately I've finally got around to it.

A while ago I made this skull screen, but I'm not quite happy with it. I tested it out again today here are the results.

I found out what happens when you don't use enough ink:

This time I had enough ink, but I accidentally got a big blob on the skulls forehead:

I also wanted to screen a cross but I couldn't find one I liked, so I drew my own. I love how it turned out.

The whole thing:

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Little black bag with red pinstripe lining! on: November 12, 2004 09:09:50 AM
Yesterday I was going through my remenants, when the idea for this bag appeared in my mind.  Not really being a bag person, it's quite basic.  But its such a nice small size and I love it!

Fabulous lining:

Hmm, the pix are kind of dark, but I think you can make it out.
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Black and Plaid Panel Skirt on: October 26, 2004 05:13:26 PM
I just reconstucted two old skirts (a black corduroy one and a black & white plaid one) to make a fabulous new skirt!

I'm pretty pleased, however it's not quite my style.  So I'm selliing it on Ebay:  (You can punch me in the neck and edit this post if this is considered spamming.)

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Homemade Magic Bag on: August 18, 2004 07:26:14 PM
My dad's birthday is coming up, so I decided to make a homemade "magic bag" (you've all seen the infomercial, I know you have).  I also decided it would be a swell idea to put his name on the front, and having never done that before it looks a tad sketchy.

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Bondage Pants on: July 27, 2004 09:52:02 PM
As the title suggests, here we have some bondage pants that I made from scratch.  *gloat gloat*  Sorry about the picture quality, I was taking the pictures with a timer.

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / T-Shirt Surgery (x 2) on: July 27, 2004 08:54:25 PM

Just thought I'd post a shirt I made a little while ago. I altered a child's dress with princess seams to get the pattern and used shirts from my thrift store.  Grin The net shirt also was recently finished after a long delay. I'm pretty happy with everything.

Edited to add:

I slapped this together just now.  Had to put it up with the other one.
8  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Homemade Soap. on: July 27, 2004 08:49:32 PM
Alright, kids.  I am on the verge of making soap for the first time.  It will be a while before I make it however, because I have to find all the ingredients first.  I have gotten most of my info off of http://www.millersoap.com but I was wondering if anyone on here could give me any advice or tips before I start.  Thanks.
