1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / 24 coke bottles? on: August 15, 2008 06:34:38 PM
What do can I do with 24 8oz old-fashioned styled glass coke bottles? They're my brothers, and I'm sure he'd prefer to keep whatever is made with it, so if it wasn't ultra-feminine, that would be great.
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Little Pullip Clothes on: July 03, 2008 09:21:54 AM
These are some clothes I made for an English project around December (hence the Christmas decorations). They're based off the fairies from A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Mustardseed (my favorite)

Moth

Peaseblossom (what's a peaseblossom anyway?)

3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / American Apparel on: June 24, 2008 09:05:33 PM
Hi! I received a screen-printing kit for Christmas, was thinking about selling t-shirts on etsy. I want them to be quality shirts, so I was thinking of buying them from American Apparel. Unfortunately this would mean having them shipped to me. My question is, should I pre-order and pre-print the shirts, then put them on etsy, or should I make it more like a custom order and buy and print the shirt after my customer buys the product. The first option would clearly be easier for the customer, but the shirts are relatively expensive for an "if...". I don't know if anyone will actually buy my shirts.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Beaver!!! on: June 18, 2008 04:06:42 PM
I made a beaver for my dad's birthday present! It was supposed to be for last year, but I didn't finish it 'till this year though! Lol. It was inspired by .:.Lola.:.'s cube beaver.

Beaver!

5  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Ceramics! (9 pics) on: June 14, 2008 04:14:24 PM
So, I found this totally awesome, reasonably priced ceramics place where you just buy it and paint it, then they glaze it, bake it, and you pick it up. I've been there three times so far.

My first... a plaid penguin!

see the lovely plaid-iness?

My second... a pink snowman box for Christmas

My third... I went for my birthday with Tofurocks, and it was just about Easter, so we painted rabbits. Here's my lovely patchwork rabbit...

Here's hers...

My friends seemed to think this one was weird, but I just saw a Madeline shirt at Urban Outfitters. Ha!
7  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Even More Adorable Things! (8 pics) on: August 20, 2007 07:01:33 AM
Here's the rest of my stuff that didn't fit in my last post.

I lost one of the earrings the second time I wore them.  Sad

It's supposed to be a marshmallow. Bad pic.  Tongue

Those dinosaurs were really tricky!

8  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Pretty Image Heavy (8 pics)! And Super Cute!--salt dough creations on: August 19, 2007 02:44:26 PM
Here's a bunch of stuff I made with salt dough. Sorry if this isn't the right place for it.

The pig was the hardest. I couldn't get anything to stay put.

This guy tilted when I baked them so he's bending over weirdly.

Chocolate, strawberry, and mint chip. MMMMMMM.

Comments are appreciated!
9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My First Real Post!!!! Franklin the rabbit! Pics now working on: August 17, 2007 07:45:34 AM
This is a rabbit I made using someone's pattern that I found on Craftster. He's not the best, but i think he came out OK. I named him Franklin. He's about the size of a baseball.

I accidentally sewed his ears to the body... oops.
