1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Dragonfly earrings on: November 18, 2007 05:28:09 AM
Just thought I would share with you, as I was told to, the little precious things I made for miss Mojen on here.

I'm quite pleased with how they came out as I have never done anything like this before, and I'm sure they won't last long, a bit fragile, but we always have thoughts on how we could have done these things better don't we.
2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Sewing Machine Advice and where to get in the UK on: September 06, 2007 07:57:45 AM
As it is my birthday this month and I've been getting fed up with how long it takes to sew by hand (although it is fun to do, just not when trying to work to a tight deadline) I have decided to ask for a sewing machine from my parents, and anyone else that I'm sure will be adding money towards it heh.

The only problem is I'm sure they are even more clueless than me on such things, and I have pretty much no knowledge seeing as the last time I used a sewing machine I think I was at school.

So any advice or recommendations would be gratefully accepted, and possibly suggestions of good value places to buy them from in the UK (London, or internet please) would also be very useful, as I doubt they would want to spend too much money.

Thanking you in advance
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Ballerina on: September 05, 2007 03:31:00 PM
I've just finished off this picture in charcoal (with some added hints of pastel to make it less... stark) for my dad's birthday (tomorrow! Good timing heh).
So I thought I would share it here for peoples opinions.

Was originally meant to be Darcey Bussell as he is a huge fan of hers, but turned out more just generic ballerina, umm... of course the low quality picture I was working form is to blame for that... yeah heh.

Only a quick webcam pic as I can't scan it in as the would mean going via my dad, which obviously can't do just yet.
