7  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Child Costume: Little Red Riding Hood on: November 02, 2007 09:07:27 AM
My dd wanted to be Little Red Riding Hood this year, so in my stash I had some Red and White Gingham I used for the dress.  For the cape I used red suedecloth and lined it with fleece so she'd be warm trick or treating.  (I made another one in light broadcloth for her to wear to her school party).  I also made the napkin in the basket and her hairbows.  The only thing bought were her tights, shoes, and the basket.  Oh I also made a cape for her special "bunny", you can kind of see it in the basket  Grin  I'm hoping she will wear the cape for Christmas and for the next couple years LOL!  Thanks for looking!
