HEY! I need some help! For my blanket, Im doing some flower-motif squares, about 6 inches.  At least, thats the plan.
I tried one pattern, but after 4 tries and 1 very stressful day, I gave up on that pattern.

So i come to you guys. What is a ridiculously easy floral motif pattern that still looks beautiful for a baby blanket?

TIA!
Love you all!
And keep up the great work, ladies!

[I think that's it! She had me do 3dc in the spaces (3dc, ch1, 3dc in corners) but also 3dc right on top of the other dc's w/a chain between the sets of 3. I'm going to start over tomorrow if I can get a break (I'm babysitting 3 kids... in addition to my 2, oh boy).

This is what I do for my grannies, they come out more solid, I'll just type out a broken down version with 3 rounds:
round 1:
ch 4, join with a sl st & ch 2
2 dc in loop, ch. 2
3 dc in loop, ch 2
3 dc in loop, ch 2
3 dc in loop, ch 1
join with a sl st in 1st ch 2.

round 2:
ch 2, dc in ch space, not next stitch
dc in next 3 sts
2 dc in next ch 2 space, ch 2, 2 dc in same ch 2 space
dc in next 3 sts
2 dc in next ch 2 space, ch 2, 2 dc in same ch 2 space
dc in next 3 sts
2 dc in next ch 2 space, ch 2, 2 dc in same ch 2 space
dc in next 3 sts
2 dc in ch 2 space,ch 1, join with sl st. in next ch, ch 2

round 3:
ch 2, dc in fch space, not next stitch
dc in next 6 sts
2 dc in next ch 2 psace, ch 2, 2 dc in same ch 2 space
dc in next 6 sts
2 dc in next ch 2 psace, ch 2, 2 dc in same ch 2 space
dc in next 6 sts
2 dc in next ch 2 psace, ch 2, 2 dc in same ch 2 space
dc in next 6 sts
2 dc in ch 2 space, ch 1 join with sl. st in ch 2, fasten off

I hope that was really clear, PM me if you need step by step pics :]

For some reason, your kinda remind me of Iron Crosses.  I like it C:

im up to 17 squares!  Yes!

Im not gonna have enough to make the design I want, so I think I might throw in a few random flower motifs, since its for a baby girl.  Maybe one in each corner or something?

Im just making a baby blanket.  I started early, and my goal is 49 squares.  Im averaging 2 a day, so it might be 64 squares? or 56?
