Thats when I knew I had to have one.  I saved my money(thinking i would need $25-30 in supplies, but only spending $8.32) and set out towards Hobby Lobby for the felt and polyfil that would surely be a fix to my need of a robot just like Ro-Bert.  I grabbed my materials and in a frenzy drove home and spent 8 hours cutting and sewing and giggling.  And this is what I came up with.

I was in love.  So I took him on a trip.

And he met some new friends.

Who have lots of fun posing his mouth and tongue to give him his one little personality.

So now he spends lots of time traveling around with me and having his adventures documented to Facebook.

I knew one day I would make my prom dress.  I just knew it.  So when Trav asked me and we decided to wear Converse, I had to make a dress to match my shoes!  Duh!
This one photo explains our relationship better than anything.

I had to hand sew the hem.  I nearly killed someone and was finishing it the night before, of course.  Just back stitch.

The pattern was a deconstructed white party dress that originally had 14 pieces of fabric.  My version had 39.
Made with bright red crepeback satin, a black sheer made my the Devil himself, and a lace.  I hadn't even put on my make up or take off my jeans when we realized the sheer was pulling away from the seams in the bust, as visible in picture number 2.   It did it in another spot over the course of the night, but the lace makes it less noticeable, and I'm planning on wearing it for my piano recital. C;

So i have this AMAZING friend from church camp.  And we haven't seen each other since his homecoming.  So this is the first time he is coming to visit me in my native surroundings.  And we've both read the first three Twilight books and love to complain at how everyone is obsessed with them.
Enough back story

I want to make him something small, and possibly Twilight themed.  He means the world to me and he is the Jacob to my Bella, if you know what I mean...
So any ideas?   Just a...something...he can keep near him and see it and think of me.

Inspired by my friend, Mitch, who is on craftster somewhere...

Cardboard art is easy, and requires little talent.  Just spraypaint, stencils, and whatever you want to use.

Partners could give each other some colors, themes, or concepts to work with, then after a month, we mail off our pieces!  Its so easy to make cardboard art, even I can do it!
The recommended size is a manila envelope, but some of the bases of the pieces may not fit in that.  Hey, we're crafters, ingenuity is what we're all about, right?
Suggested bases:
              Cardboard, old book covers, old vinyl records or CDs, brown paper bags, t shirts stretched over cardboard or a frame, fabric not stretched at all.
Pretty much just stuff no one wants that would be thrown away

I love photography.  And while anyone can take a picture of a flower, I'm really impressed at how well the the focus and such turned out...  The original is big enough to be the background on my weird sized monitor.

its nice to see positive things about chick fohawks, because im considering a mild death hawk for my new years hair cut.
Sorry for the not so great first photo, but its my main inspiration.  im also gonna try to make some of these.

Also, my brother(no professional training!) would be the one to cut it.  I have really thick hair, and he says that we would have to shave out some of the underside to make it lay right.  Is that true?
And what would you think if I dyed some of the front wispy bang things electric blue?

Also, my friends are telling me i could totally pull off dreads.  Should I get some as the Aeon cut grows out?

So my older brother had given me this awesome shirt with this Scene-kid looking printing on the front.  I've been saving it for something truly awesome, so 3 weeks later it hits me.  Make a vest!  So i grabbed the free pattern at BurdaStyle.com and got a'cuttin!  The design on the front of the tee is now the back of the vest(Did I take any pictures?  No!) 
I made a simply modification to the pattern.  the back is two pieces with a seam down the back.  But I didnt want to cut the design, so instead I trimmed the seam allowance(5/8ths inch) off that particular side of the pattern and it worked perfectly!  Also, the size chart told me to make myself a size 40 and that seemed like too much, so I made a 38.  It was still too big, so next time, I'm making a 36, which makes sense.  Also I was too lazy to add buttons-too afraid of trying to make button holes)so I used a sweet pin instead.


It was very simple!  Every newbie should try this and if they need help, PM me!
     So If you make one without a lining, you could make a size 40 with just a size Medium guys tee!  But trust me.  I hate making linings and in this project, its totally worth it!  Do it!!!

Guys, what are some quick, easy hairstyles I can do?  I know the pomp and it's gonna get its wear, but I dont want to do it everyday for 8 days!  I have recently gotten a really really layered haircut, so the bottom is really thin(a ponytail looks like a rattail.  its weird coz my hair is freakishly thick!)Sorry I didnt rotate!
