hubby is diabetic, so i used sugar free jello, but i imagine the regular stuff would work fine too.
Air-popped the popcorn (there is also some way with a brown bag and a microwave to make plain???)
sprayed it with butter flavored cooking spray. tossed with with just a dash of salt and then the whole packet of gelatin, a little at a time. spray more as needed.

bake on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees for a few minutes. Watch it carefully!!! You just want it to melt the jello a little bit, not scortch it! (and mine started smoking a little....relax, just a LITTLE because i should have taken it out sooner)
I didnt bother making it a single layer on the cookie sheet either.
Its really good. I also am going to try Lime with extra salt!
