haha, thanks everyone!
in answer to your question, yes, it's fleece, and i stitched the detailing for the shell and the ab lines on the front shell part... that definitely took forever, but it came out pretty much exactly how i imagined it... thanks for all the wonderful comments :-)

For Christmas, I decided to make my sister a hoodie based on her ultimate obsession at the moment, the teenage mutant ninja turtles.  I wanted it to be completely unique, so here it is!

She can also wear it without the eye mask if the hoodie is off... She totally loved it and has already worn it in public and gotten some interesting looks :-)

Hopefully it is half as cool as the Juno stuff she made me for my birthday (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=277933.0), and the shoes she made me for Christmas (http://www.craftster.org/forum).../index.php?topic=284055.0)
27  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Kings of Leon and National Vans on: December 23, 2008 09:31:44 PM
So my sister and I have exchanged our Christmas gifts...
You may remember her from the birthday gift she made me... (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=277933.0)

Now she has made me some Vans decorated with my two favorite bands!!! Check them out!!!

I have made her a pretty cool hoodie in return... (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=284056.0)

29  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Lighted Gift Packages on: December 17, 2008 06:36:04 PM
You know I went to Lowe's and bought the drill bit specifically for these, I forget what they were called, but a person should be able to help you out there.  I put them in the sink and drill them with running water so that the bit stays cooled, just keep the electrically charged parts out of the way if you can.  Also, it takes lots of pressure and drilling, it's not a fast process.  Good luck!
