I made this one out of a women's medium shirt. Luckily for me, the length was just right, so i didn't have to make a hem. I made the straps just flat, and left some extra at the ends for adjusting. I also cut armholes out, in case I ever want to attach sleeves (with leftover fabric) I now have about 10 shirts I want to do this to (including a men's flannel...will be so comfy). I made this dress for my 2 yr old, but she didn't want to stand for pics...(it was REALLY hot). This is my first pic post....so I'm sorry if the pics are too big, or they don't work...ect. The back has a "corset style' crisscross closure, and the arm straps are aqua lace. It is pretty much just a square with a circle sewn to the middle, no "diamond shape" or "triangles", but it does kind of have a cool flowy effect.
