1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Last minute X-mas gifts? Ideas? on: December 18, 2007 02:46:33 AM
My last work day is on Thursday and I haven`t gotten my coworkers anything yet! I was hoping to make something, so that people don`t feel obliged to get me something. I was thinking of xmas candy, but I`m more handy with the sewing machine! Anyone got any ideas ?
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Cd shelves on: October 28, 2007 01:44:56 AM
I`m thinking of making our own cd shelves for our 1500 cd`s. We have ordinary IKEA Billy shelves now, but they attract dust and I`m fed up with them. I`d like to make the shelves no broader than the size of a CD. Media shelves cost lots`a $$$, so if I DIY, I think I could save lots of money. But I`m no carpenter and I have never made a project like this before. Has anyone tried or know of a great link?
3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / How do you make a chinese food box? on: October 14, 2007 01:37:17 AM
Does anyone have a tutorial or a sketch of how you can make a chinese food box? I thought of this as an alternative  for xmas wrapping.
I got the idea from this image: In Norway, where I live, we don`t get chinese food boxes if we order take-out chinese :/
4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / What do you call this type of suit? on: June 02, 2007 02:20:15 AM

It`s a kind of jammies, but it`s not worn JUST as jammies. I want to make tons of these for my little son, but don`t have a pattern for it. Anyone made these before? I used to wear this all the time when I was a little kid, but I didn`t have the high collar or the buttons. Just the zipper  Smiley
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / CD cozy on: June 07, 2005 06:42:44 AM
I made this CD cozy from yardenxanthe`s topic of her minipurse with flap: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=1128.0

The fabric is from IKEA (I work there hehehe)

It was a gift to a friend, along with a personal compilation cd and it was hard giving it away hehehe Smiley

I`m already making more, so that I`ll always have something to give away!
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Muscle Inflammation on: July 27, 2004 07:04:17 AM
Hello!
Im one of the lucky geezers who have muscle inflammation in my right arm! Its from playing bass, working as a barista AND crafting! What should I do now ? I tried to knit the other day and my arm went aching for three days.  Undecided   I really need to start with the xmas presents now. Any ideas how to keep up my crafting without using my right arm too much ? And if anyone have the same problems, any tips on recovery ?

Have a nice summer and please don`t waste the sunny days. In Norway its raining and raining and raining.
