To start with, let me explain why I went at a perfectly good dress with scissors... I don't wear dresses =P  *but* when I saw this dress, I had to have it. I figured I'm sure I could do something with it! So... the original dress
and the top portion on (no one ever sees my legs!)

Not the most flattering of things on me. It had to be altered, I spent weeks wondering what to do with it and then it dawned on me, if I take the bottom skirt type bit and sew it on the top, I can make a halter. A few snips later and I had this
