You totally rock, it looks beautiful.  I'm reupholstering a pair of chairs and my cat finds them irresistable, I may just add some button detailing to them.  Thanks for the inspiration.  Kitty love to Oreo.

For the ice cream containers...

Several years ago my sister was using them to make fabric covered baskets for the bathroom.  You use one per basket, cut off the top 2 inches (it's usually thicker there) and cut that in half to use as the handle, and then basically make a cover for the bottom with a coordinating cover for the top.   Hers were very lacy and country, but I'm sure you could make them suit any decor. 

Also coffee cans make great stilts for kids if you know any and decoupage can make jars into pretty sun catcher/vases on your window sill.
