22  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Baby Bloomer/ Diaper Cover on: May 20, 2010 11:54:40 AM
I am new to sewing garment, it is my 1st project.  I used McCall's M6058.  It is reversible bloomer, I used PUL for reversible side, so it will be waterproof.  I don't like the typical diaper cover, I think bloomer looks cute and my son can just wear prefold and this in summer.

The instruction of the pattern is confusing and not detail enough, but it could be my problem, coz I don't have experience on sewing garment.  I had a hard time to make it reversible, end up I did my own way.

Not too happy with the result, but the next one will look better, since I learn my lesson!!

23  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Organic Cotton Baby Hat with Rose on: May 02, 2010 08:33:49 PM
here is my newest project, I really like it.  Esp the rose, first time to make it.  But I think if I use fingering yarn, it will look better.
