22  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Need online fabric store for rare/weird material on: July 30, 2007 11:28:46 AM

Hi, I'm looking for an online fabric store (preferably in Canada since shipping is so expensive), that sells Cordura or Nylon Rip Stop, something to make a backpack out of. I've never shopped for fabric online but so far i've found no stores with cordura in Canada. Any help or comments are appreciated.

23  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: Thinking about doing henna at craft fairs on: July 19, 2007 12:33:36 PM
I've seen many people doing Henna at exhibitions/stampedes/fairs they use the black coloured stuff (i've never heard of scarring from it maybe it's not the same as the black you are talking about - though I have heard black can cause bad reactions - is that what u mean - unlike natural plant henna which is what I use)

Anyways to the point. Here (In Canada) they charge anywhere from $10-100 for a design depending on the size and intricacy. A 4" design would be about $30-40 here.

Good Job, I really love how the handles are attached.

The logo is also really cute.

Hi, ok so it's my first post so i'm apologizing in advance if i don't make sense

I've been making purses lately & have tried to make inside hidden zipper pockets. They work fine/look good except the inside somehow I always end up with a flap of extra material on one side (when looking into open pocket). I could cut it really short and hide it behind one part of the zipper but I was wondering how everyone else makes these pockets
