Did I spell her name right? This was a baby afghan made for a cousin's baby. I regret giving it away, because the person I gave it to didn't appreciate it at all. Didn't even get a "thank you." Bummer. It turned out so pretty, though. Guess I'll have to make another one.
This is a crocheted tare panda (it's a Japanese animated character). I think it means "lazy panda". Made this for my brother for Christmas. I know, I know. I'm late to the game here, but thought anyone who likes tare panda might like to see this. I'm pretty proud of him, since I had to learn to read the charts that were in the Japanese book and figure out what the words mean for leg and head and such.
I was on a doily kick for a while. Now I've moved on to potholders. Guess I needed the instant gratification of little easy potholders. Anyway, here are a few doilies. The third one is the one I'm most proud of. It's very heavily textured. The second doily pictured (with the little hearts) was a free one online but I modified it a little because the directions were wonky.
I've been lax on posting any of the items I crochet, so I'm going to start adding things here.
First up, a Harry Potter inspired hat and scarf I made for a former co-worker. (The background project is a blanket I made a long time ago using Homespun.) I know the scarf and hat are pretty basic. I've done much more elaborate things, but I'm fond of them.
