I love this more than anything I have ever seen on Craftster, ever.

That is seriously one of the best ideas I have seen. I love block printing but  I never want to shell out the bucks for blocks to carve, so I'll definitely do this. Great designs, also!

I almost but hat fabric every time I go to Joann's- It's so cute! The shirt looks great too, very professional.

Looks super neat! How did you manage to sew over adhesive without gumming up your needle?

Well that's way cute now!  Is that a homemade dress form?!?  Awesome.

Yep! It's duct taped. It's developed a terrible slouch over time though. Sad I probably didn't stuff it well enough. Thankfully my friend dumpster-dived a professional dress form a design school was throwing out. I totally prefer that one now but it's a little bigger than me.

love it as a dress!

Silly Coquelicot~, everybody knows those little old ladies who play bridge, play every Tuesday and Thursday, weekends is for Bunko, unless they're playing bridge in a tournament down in Houston or on a cruise somewhere.

Nice new neckline! Was it hard to do?

Haha I forgot about Bunko!

Actually it was super easy. I just cut the old neck out close to the original collar, made a rectangle the circumference of the neck with the grey fabric and sewed it on somewhat haphazardly. Smiley

i found this tee shirt at buffalo exhange, i fairly awesome store. (grey knit is a goodwill-found tee) i always found this type of animal shirt somewhat tacky and mostly suitable for an old lady living alone who plays bridge every weekend or something like that. my goal was to update it and make it something cute that i could wear.

the sleeves don't really hang right because this dressform lacks shoulders. :/

thanks for looking!
