Oh Phoenix, I'm always excited when I see a post of yours pop up on craftster. I love your pendants, and I really love these hematite star beads (have a bag of them somewhere), so I think this pendant is very very awesome Smiley

Hey, I recognize that book. When this challenge came up, that's the encyclopedia my mind went to right away. I think my family has 2 sets by now, and nothing to do with them (unless my mom got rid of them somehow). It isn't useful anymore, but we can't bring ourselves to just throw a book in the trash.
That's a very clever and unusual use for a book, I love it  Smiley

FreakieGeekie - your doll is really taking shape, very cool Smiley
rscowtown - thanks, I wore it all day after taking the picture, even though it wasn't really that cold.
kbrison - Thanks Smiley it's not my first project, just my first hat, but it's close enough. I've only made the amazing standing by themselves wristwarmers and a few rings and strips before.
always - I started out thinking I would make a hat for my daughter, but at some point realized it would be too big, so just made it for me. Now I have to dig up more yarn and make her a hat too (she asked me a few times while I was working on it what I'm making for her).
cursive_queen - very nice quilt, I love the fabrics you chose.

I'm off to update my list.

Where did February go? I managed to do exactly one project this month.
In my attempt to learn crochet, I made this hat:

It actually looks like a hat, so I think I'm getting somewhere Smiley

So many things, and just one month has gone by!
StickerChic - beautiful crochet projects, and only your second and third?
rottenlittleboys - she hands me beads till she loses interest, and I did spend some time on the living room floor after one session, picking up tiny red beads, but she's the best little helper ever Smiley
Kookaloo - I like the tie-die look, and I vote for a fabulous day every day.
vamped - cute little monster, it's great that he's reversible too, I actually turned my head upside down to see what he would look like.
yofi (love your name, beautiful) - cute hat, and that wall of tools looks very useful.
meleriffic - I love the combination of pink and black. The fish cake reminds me of a cake my parents made for one of my brothers' birhtdays when he was a kid, very clever and yummy) to use the marshmallows as scales.
skittlebub - cute bunnies, and when there are a lot of them, even cuter. You got so much stuff done, you'll be up t o 50 in no time Smiley
chelseahavoc - welcome aboard!
deathbeforedishes - that's a great hat and scarf set, and I'm sure she'll love the piggie, he's just the right size to be carried everywhere by a toddler.
MissingWillow - I saw the citrus kitchen towls in the swap thread, awesome pops of color! Not sure about the pillow cases, I would have candy dreams all night  Grin

SilverMoon - I also have a similar job, part time Smiley
We're at the "Mommy, what are you doing?" phase, and everything I've made lately has been claimed. So, she has a new necklace and we're almost done making a bracelet. She helps by handing me the beads one at a time (she's almost 2). Today I saw her putting the tail end of a string in her mouth and then trying to put a tiny bead on the string, like I did earlier. I think I need to find some big beads for her to play with.
Always - I just took a look at the first page and noticed my beaded star is marked as a complete WIP from last year. It's actually freshly done, start to finish this year. I think it's still eligible, because I made it for me, to learn a new pattern. I already made 4 more, in different sizes, maybe I'll have 50 by the end of the year Smiley

That's a very pretty pendant, nice design. Sort of reminds me of a slice of cheese  Wink
I saw it in the 50 projects and meant to respond, but that thread moves so fast, I lost track.

mini_mum - that makes perfect sense. My brother has a friend who was born on the 29th, so they always tease him about being just a few years old Smiley

I managed to drag myself outside in the cold to take some pictures of my star (had to go outside anyway to pick up my daughter, but that makes it a lot less dramatic):

So that's one.

A work of art, I love it Smiley

I did it, I actually completed something!!! I made a beaded star from a diagram I found online. I'll take a picture tomorrow, as the sun is currently on the other side of the globe.

that1girl - wow, so many things, you'll be up to 50 in no time.
plaidpineapple - great quilt, makes me want to crawl right into bed and snuggle up with a book.
P_E_S_T - awesome birthday party! That's a great activity idea, I'll have to remember it for when my kid is a bit older.
tinybits - the colors of your socks remind me of Link from the Zelda games.
mini_mum - the biscuits look yummy. What's an un-anniversary?
PaperBeau - the print looks very subtle, it goes well with the rest of the table setting Smiley I don't think there are any special rules to posting new threads. Find the right category, write a nice title, add some pics and you're good to go.
