Everybody is crafting away, I guess (either that or just enjoying other relaxing weekend stuff, I hope).
I got 3 more things to post, one completed a while ago and 2 completed this week.

Battle/Challenge: Now we're cooking
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: none
Project Name: Spinach bites/casserole- 2 ways
Brief Description:
My daughter's kindergarten was having a bonfire to celebrate Lag BaOmer, and each family is asked to bring something (food, drink, plates...). Most people spring for the easy stuff, but why should I?
I usually make this spinach, cheese and noodles casserole, and it disappears almost as soon as it hits the table. So, I thought I would switch it up a little bit and bake it in my mini muffin pans, making for more servings (and mini is cute). I used a thinner type of noodles, so they would fit better in the pans. It still disappeared almost as soon as I placed it on the table Smiley
I had left over ingredients that had to be used up, so the next day we made a batch in a regular dish, and it wasn't bad either (although, for the regular size, I think the larger noodles might be better).

Battle/Challenge: Clone Wars
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: none
Project Name: Purple spiral anklet
Project Page Link (if available): original project link
Brief Description:
I do a lot of beading and always like learning new techniques. I came across this Russian (I think) site, that has a lot of pretty things, and I check it once in a while to see what's new. If I find anything I want to make, I ask my friend Google to translate it for me and just go for it.
My niece asked me for an anklet, now that it's summer, and I thought she might like this style (and purple is her favorite color).
I didn't add the chips at this point, maybe in a future project. The technique itself is very easy and works up pretty quickly. It's a good project for me to take on the train.

Battle/Challenge: Luck of the Irish
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: none
Project Name: green bracelet
Brief Description:
this is a combination of 2 techniques, the beaded spiral, and the simpled beaded chain. I thought they looked pretty cool worn together, so I just connected the 2. I might add more in the future for that layered bracelet look.

I guess that's it from me for this round of the games.
Off to upgrade the tracking machine for the summer round Smiley

Oh boy, BadWolf, you just ran out of prompts, what will you do for the rest of the month? Smiley
pishaw - your triangle quilt is beautiful, I want to touch the pebble quilting, I bet it feels nice.
So much stuff, hard to comment on everything.
I predict a great flood of posts with pictures in the next few days.

bunny, that's a great improvement, the colors look right for the room. And it's something you get to see everyday, so you can totally feel accomplished Smiley

Thanks everyone. Wow, a repin, how cool!
It's very simple to make, but made me a bit cross-eyed at some point, silly yellow beads.

Battle/Challenge: March UFO sighting
TeamFandom
Bonus Points: 10 for yellow
Project Name: chain bracelet
Brief Description:
A while ago I borrowed bits of my brother's chainmail stash and equipment. I noticed that my seed beads fit in the jump rings, so I played around a bit and made myself a simple bracelet. I decided to post it for the yellow UFO sighting, because the yellow beads were giving me the most trouble when trying to get them onto the rings (seems their holes are a tiny bit smaller than the other colors). They are probably why I put it aside for a while and only now finished it.

artsycandice - isn't it amazing how "kids" (no matter how old they are) always remember this stuff at the last moment. I help my brothers with homework and projects a lot, and we've spent many late nights that way (the youngest is now 23, and I'm still doing homework Smiley). The art you created is beautiful, now I have to go look up the book, not sure how I managed to miss it.
pishaw13 - purple is fine for the royal prompt. What other prompts are you stuck with? Hold on, I can check that in the tracking list, let me know if I got it right:
Honey, you should see me in a crown - you got that covered with a purple dress project
What's your sign?
Shrines
May sighting - complete any UFO you have and you have this covered, bonus if it has the color gold in it, but it doesn't have to have it to count as a sighting.
Going postal

I managed to complete 2 and half more things, maybe I'll be able to get some pictures and post tomorrow.
20  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Hello! and some mini foods! on: May 15, 2014 04:04:08 PM
Welcome aboard, Rat_Tails Smiley
mini foods are always fun, and yours are really well done. I especially like your very first one, I love the texture you gave to the bread (and I love sandwiches).
