Here's a quick post and dash of the stuff I managed to make this round. I hope to be more active and present in the next round.
Looks like it was mostly about eating, this time.

Project Name: Christmas Lights Bingo
Project Link:
Brief Description:
Went to see one of the neighborhoods in my city, all decorated for the holidays, with my daughter and some friends. At the last minute I remembered an idea I had, so I created a few sheets with pictures of different shapes of lights that we might find. Gave one to each kid to mark off the ones they spotted. Afterwards, we used them as coloring pages to entertain my daughter while waiting for food at a restaurant. (not the best picture of the project, but shows how useful it was)

tried out a pancakes recipe I found online. Now I don't remember which one it was. Oh well, we'll just have to make more till I find the right one in my bookmarks.

Project Name: Quick lunch from the fridge

Brief Description:
Mixed a few different dishes into this yummy lunch. There's tomato sauce from making lasagna, eggplants from a big batch of antipasti, heated up in a pan with some diced tomatoes and some spaghetti. Then topped with some cheese and gobbled up.

Project Name: Ring for birthday girl
Project Link:
Brief Description:
Went to my in laws for a weekend and met one of my nieces, who had a birthday that week. She requested some more rings, and how can I refuse my cute fans? I only had time to whip up one quick ring for her, but am working on a huge batch for her and the rest of the gang for next month when I meet them all.

Project Name: Israeli Couscous and Cheese Bake
Project Link:
Brief Description:
I love quick dishes, where you just mix everything together and bake. Found this recipe a while ago and already made a few variations of it (with corn and with green olives). We get different shapes (and sometimes colors) of Israeli couscous here. I bake them in a muffin pan and my daughter gets them in her food box instead of a sandwich for her breakfast. The box is returning home empty.
The recipe can be found here:

Project Name: Mini Hamentashen and random cookies
Project Link:
Brief Description:
Hamentashen are traditionally eaten on Purim. As this is a Hebrew leap year, we get a whole extra month in the year. The month that is "duplicated" is the one that has Purim in it, and the holiday is celebrated in the second month. The first month has the day called "small Purim". Someone on Facebook suggested that small Purim should have small hamentashen, and the suggestion caught my mind in a very suggestionable mood. So, dug up some recipes and made tiny triangle cookies. But got tired of folding all the little bits (repetitive element), so made random cookies out of the rest of the dough.

Did I just lose an entire month?  Shocked
Sorry for disappearing, crazy times at work, too many hours staring at computers.
I did craft a bit, but mostly zaps.
I'll add my crafts and then go dust off the tracking machine, to get a summary of this round.

Hey everyone, it's Tanath, reporting to you live from the new year!
I'm happy to report that 2016 has been good so far (all 3 hours of it, here), so any of you peeps still in 2015, come on over Smiley
Got a quick post for the Battle prompt, I'll post the rest tomorrow, when I can remind myself what project goes with which prompt.

Prompt:  Decemeber Battle - Lego
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: none
Project Name: MM chain pendant
Project Link:
Brief Description:
Choosing a side for this month's battle was easy. I grew up in a household full of Lego. My dad loves it, so he got us tons of it (almost literally, he once came back from the states with a shipping box full of Lego parts). We spent many happy hours sorting the bricks and building awesome creations. I decided to do something with peyote, since this stitch reminds me of how Lego bricks snap together, sometimes when I work the beads they even make a small satisfying click when they settle into place. I wanted to make a chain with the classic Lego colors, but couldn't find the correct shades of green or blue in my stash, so ended up with only a few relevant colors. I was very pleased with the combination I selected, and only halfway through the project I realized why. The colors are the iconic Mickey Mouse colors!
Anyway, here it is. I might make a beaded chain for it, haven't decided yet.

And there went another round of awesome. I've been a total slacker. It's a good thing the tracking machine goes ping once in a while to remind me to wind it Smiley
Here are a few things I managed to make this round.

Brief Description:
I found the pattern for this years ago somewhere online and finally created a bracelet out of it. I started it last spring, I think. The project traveled with me to France, where I saw a lot of carousels, but didn't add a single bead to it and I finally finished it.
There are a couple more pictures in the project link.

Project Name: Chai Mini Muffins
Project Link:
Brief Description:
Went to a picnic, but didn't have time to go shopping the day before and minimal baking time in the morning. Had almost enough buttermilk, added yogurt and milk to make up for it. Just mix everything and pop in the oven.
I used this awesome recipe (that I know by heart by now), just used chai instead of earl grey.

Project Name: Vegan Banana Mini Muffins
Project Link:
Brief Description:
For the same picnic, a new friend requested vegan muffins. I had no special ingredients in my kitchen (the no time to shop thing) and no experience with vegan recipes. I did some digging online, compared ingredient lists to what did exist in my kitchen and got some decent banana muffins.
I used this recipe, but added some orange juice to it because of the comments and the consistency of the batter when I mixed everything.

New friend was happy with them and the picnic was full of yummy stuff from everyone.

Years ago, I found a cute pattern for a peyote bracelet and bookmarked it to make some day. I managed to misplace it a few times, and finally went ahead and made it. It took many hours, and turned out wider than I thought it would, but I'm very happy with it.

In progress, with all the little bead boxes:

Prompt: October Battle Royale - Yeti
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: Community
Project Name: Bottle Bowling
Project Link: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=441331.msg5349430#msg5349430
Brief Description:
I created a bowling set out of plastic bottles, for my daughter who is currently learning the letter Bet (Hebrew letter, sounds like B or V). There is a Hebrew word for bowling, but most people here just call it bowling, and the Hebrew word for bottle also begins with Bet, so it was a perfect fit. Also, I made it all from stuff that we had around the house, but recycling starts with a different letter Smiley
I went with Yeti for all the snowy white in this project, and also, the light blue we used reminds me of the cute Yetis I saw on Craftster (do a search for Yeti, you'll see what I mean).

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Bottle Bowling on: October 31, 2015 02:05:31 PM
My daughter is learning letters, and the letter we are currently working on is Bet (in Hebrew, sounds like either a B or a V).
So, we do activities related to the letter.
I went into our craft room and came out with some plastic bottles, white paint and a brush, and the final result is our personal bowling set:

Found out that gauche paint doesn't like plastic:

But found some gesso that did a better job:

Also got a little helper to decorate the bottles with me:
