I left the forums for a few days and now have a big job of catching up. Wanted to post this project real quick, to catch the end of the month. Then, I'll go and read back through the thread and update the tracking machine.

Prompt: June Battle Royale - Cute
Team: Fandom
Event: Yarnology
Bonus Points: 0
Project Name: blue hearts anklet
Project Link:
Brief Description:
This is the only thing I completed this month that isn't food. I made another ankle bracelet, in the same pattern as the one I made last month. Unlike traditional friendship bracelets, I put clasps on my bracelets because I like to be able to switch them, but I haven't taken off the last one I made for a while now.
I chose this project to go with Cute, as the heart symbol is cute and ankle bracelets are cute, but also because ankle bracelets always remind me of the Snorkmaiden from the Moomins. I read the books as a kid and was enchanted by the anklet she wears. I think it's the first time I was aware of this type of jewelry.

*** Walks in wearing flipflops and a duck float (plus summer clothing, of course, this is a kid friendly thread) ***
Hi everyone, Summer is here! This means longer days (go convince the kid to go to sleep when it's not "night" yet), the pool, the beach, watermelons, grapes and peaches, and ice cream. It also means the Spring round of the games is over and a new round has begun.

Lets take a look at what we had in the Spring round.

We have had 23 active players, posting a total of 326 projects. All the prompts got some attention and the board has been flooded with pictures (no complaints, we love pictures).

May had as zooming about, using different kinds of vehicles, and all of the prompts for this month got a similar amount of attention, ranging from 11 to 14 projects each.
May's 3-way battle didn't get as much attention as previous battles, with a total of 11 projects, with the smallest contestant, Automobiles, winning the battle with 5 submissions, while Trains got 4 and Planes got 2. But no matter how you travel, as long as you keep safe and make it to your destination more or less on time and in good shape.

The most projects any single prompt got is 19 and 3 different prompts made it to that number: March's 40's Homemaker, 60's Flower Child and April's Union Jack.

We've had 7 Adventurers, who ventured out of the games thread and actually posted elsewhere in the Craftster world, on boards that are new or infrequent to them. Hurray for the brave adventurers: roler, storeboghtcreations, gozer, Mountains and Clouds, artsycandice, calabaza and LovelyMiss.

Leading the way this round, with 24 projects each, are Lody and gozer for Team Wordy, who went by the famous Craftser mantra Craft All The Things!!! and a bit beyond that, Ludi with an extra Research project and gozer with a Bounty entry. Also Crafting All The Things is rockingbearranch of Team Wordy, with 23 projects.
It goes without saying (but I'll say it anyway), that we are all winners in this game. For creating and sharing, and enjoying each other's creativity, no matter how many or how few projects life let us complete this round.

The totals for the teams at the end of the round (the totals include the bounties):

Looking forward to a great summer (or winter if you are on the other side of this globe).

End of Month! End of Round! It keeps happening and it's surprising every time Smiley
Managed just a few more this round (way less than the ideas in my head).

Prompt: Tea time
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: 0
Project Name: Yogurt Cake
Project Link:
Brief Description:
My daughter is learning letters, so we're doing Letter of the Week. We take one letter every week and do stuff that is related to words that begin with that letter. I only get to spend some of my afternoons with her, so we're not doing as many fun activities as I would like, but when the letter corresponds with the word cake (in Hebrew), we have to bake a cake. I had in my bookmarks a super easy recipe, which uses the yogurt cup as the measure. I translated the ingredient list into pictures and let her do most of the "reading" and mixing (a small happy dance and some squealing might have occurred when she couldn't figure out one ingredient by the picture and figured it out when she looked closer at the letters, you're guess as to who did the dancing).
We put the mixture into a bunch of mini cake pans we happened to buy a few days before and they turned out yummy.
(in the thumbnail you can see the letter "board" I did for that week)

Just a cute hearts design ankle bracelet for the summer.

Prompt:  Union Jack

Project Name: Tiny bracelet
Project Link:
Brief Description:
Friendship bracelets was my main craft as a teenager. I could often be seen with a safety pin with a bunch of strings attached to my jeans. It's my fallback when I'm feeling crafty but don't know what to do. I've found this wonderful website with tons of patterns (http://friendship-bracelets.net/), and I browse it once in a while. I was looking for something simple, and found this little design. In the chart it looks like little hearts, but they turned out more like tiny triangles in my bracelet. I think I'll wear it with a few other thin bracelets for a fun look.

Hey everyone, sorry for being totally absent so far in this round. The minions got into the tracking machine and taught it to sing the banana song. It took two months to get it to stop marking the prompts with fruit instead of points  Shocked.
Anyway, we're having an awesome round so far, with more people joining all the time (welcome Algeera Smiley). We currently have 21 players, representing all 5 teams.

As in previous rounds, no prompt has been neglected, with projects submitted for all of the prompts for March and April (and we already have some for May too).

March had us dancing through the decades, and saw many of us make things for our homes and families, prompted by the 40s homemaker (16 projects). And then chillin' with the 60s flower child (15 projects).
When asked to choose between the past and the future, many of us looked back at yesteryear and the battle was decided 12 to 3 for the past.

April took us to the British kingdom for some tea and biscuits. Apparently there is much to be inspired by there, as 15 items were crafted for a favorite British something or someone.
2 distinct British favorite someones were the subject of April's battle, making for some hard decisions. It looks like the chance for traveling through space and time in a blue box won, as the battle was decided 9 to 5 for the Doctor.

How about some individual numbers, you say? Well, here goes...

Topping the chart with 17 projects is Ludi for Team Wordy, who also managed to make the machine spit cogs again, but submitting 2 research projects already (don't worry, we fixed it).
We have a whole bunch of people with 15 projects each: rockingbearranch, bunny1kenobi and gozer of Team Wordy and crazyda79 of Team Randomizer.

So far 194 projects have been submitted this round, and there's still a month to go (and it can go far, by car, train, boat, hot air balloon or unicycle).

And a lovely table for the furniture admirers:

Want a link to the machine? Have some silly numbers question? Wondering about the banana song? Just send your request my way and it will be taken care of Smiley

Keep on being awesome.

Glad to see you, craftADDchick, I was starting to get worried about team Textbook. Thought they might have been locked in the library or just started reading something and forgot to stop (I do that a lot, and then wonder why I can't wake up in the morning).
I'm sure we'll be seeing a few more players pop in in the next few hours, as it is the end of the month.

I managed to complete a few projects, I'll post the 2 time-sensitive ones today and the rest will follow later.

Prompt: March Flash Mob
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: 0
Project Name: flower ponytail holders
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description:
I was born in the 70s, and crochet was very popular at the time. I found a tutorial for crocheting a simple flower, so I made myself one attached to a hair elastic. Along came miss "what are you making for me?", who is always interested in what I am making, and usually assumes it's for her. At 4 years old, it makes sense, as she's the center of her universe. I told her this one is for me, so she requested one in purple.
The tutorial can be found here:

Prompt: March Battle Royal - Future
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: UFO
Project Name: watermelon bracelet
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description:
Watermelons always remind me of summer, so this project could go either way, past or future. I chose to go with future, as I plan to wear this bracelet in the near future, as summer approaches. It makes me think of all the fun stuff we are going to do this summer - beach, hiking, visiting friends, soap bubbles splashing in the back yard, and I'm sure we're going to have plenty of watermelons and other yummy summer fruit.
Project Pictures:
It might be to tell but the white part is actually a very light pink and a very light minty green.

Happy February everyone!
This is your trackless tracker, reporting live from deep within cyberspace (or from her computer chair, but cyberspace sounds way more exciting, maybe I'll rename my chair).

The end of the second month of the round has come, and we're at 193 complete projects.
We have 25 members playing this round, representing all 5 teams.

As always, no prompt went uncrafted, and we even have 3 completed research projects in this round.
Topping the charts is December's Flash Mob, with 18 projects representing our various home countries or cultural roots.
Following right behind are the battles, with 17 projects each. After North winning the last battle, people have had enough of the cold, and Warm won this round, with 12 cuddly, snuggly or otherwise sunny projects.

storeboughtcreations of team Multimedia has been keeping up with the prompts and managed to complete them all so far (excluding Research), for a total of 17 projects. gozer of team Wordy, with the same number of completions, is missing just one prompt, but has a Research project to show for it. In case you're wondering, the missing prompt is "You're as Cold as Ice", so gozer can still complete all the projects.
but remember, 1 project or 20, it doesn't matter, the point is to have fun Smiley

And here are the numbers, for anyone who was wondering:

And remember, any time is craft time.
For example, a birthday party:

Oh boy, we are at 109 projects already, and each one is awesome Smiley

Here are a few more:

Prompt: January Battle - Warm vs. Cold
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: UFO
Project Name: Arm warmers, take 2
Project Link:
Brief Description:
A few years ago, I crocheted myself some arm warmers. My daughter saw them when we took a trip to Germany last spring and requested a pair. I started a few times and finally managed to complete them last month, just in time for the really cold weather we had.
I think I'll go with Warm here, as they are intended to keep my kids hands warm, and it warms my heart that she likes the stuff I make for her Smiley

Project Picture:
I'll try to get a picture of her actually wearing them, for now here they are held by the original pair.

Prompt: Freezing point
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Pudding cup cake
Project Link:
Brief Description:
Our fridge apparently wants to be a freezer when it grows up, so it's been randomly freezing food on different shelves. We had a couple of vanilla flavored pudding cups that froze and the unfroze, they were still good, but their texture wasn't as nice anymore. Off to Google to consult, and the result is a cake.
This fits the prompt as it was a literal result of freezing point, and also, I had to buy zero things for it, had all the ingredients at home.
(Our pudding cups are a bit different from the ones available in the US, as far as I know)

hey everyone, I posted a small tracking report over on the discussion thread, if numbers are your thing.

Thanks for the feedback about my star, I got some pictures of it in action with it's pink twin.
roler - the star is puffy in the middle, it's a bit 3D, I think the new pictures show it a bit better.
craftADDchick - it is double sided. Making it is a bit fiddly, you make 5 similar sections and then put them together, and it sometimes looks a bit wonky while in progress, but it all works out to a star in the end. It doesn't take too long either, so it's not annoying for long and then you have a cute star to stare at (or keep having to rescue from your kids).
This is the tutorial I used, if anyone wants to give it a go (used with Google translate):
It's not the clearest to follow, I think I had to fiddle with it a bit to understand how to connect the sections.

Hey hey, long time no report!
So here's a fresh one, fresh of the machine, that was updated just minutes ago.

This round is rocking and rolling around the world, with new players still popping up, welcome everyone Smiley
Currently we have 22 players, representing all teams, with 99 completed projects.
Last month's theme took us around the world (come to think of it, we are around the world, I think we have people from all over the globe playing).
None of the December prompts were neglected, and 5 days into January, we're seeing lots of action for the new prompts already.

Leading in number of projects are the time sensitive prompts, December Flash Mob with 18 completed projects and December Battle Royal with 17 projects. The winner of the December Battle is the queen of the season, North, with 8 projects inspired by it. West got 6, east got 2 and south got 1 (see? we try to never neglect anyone).

Leading the way and giving us lots to ooh and awe about is artsycandice of team Randomizer with 13 completed projects, followed by rockingbearranch of team Wordy and crazyda79 of team Randomizer, with 9 projects each.

Want more numbers? More random statistics in pretty colors?
Are you a team leader and I forgot to send you a link to the tracking machine? Just let me know and we will make it happen.

Keep crafting everyone!

Ok, who keeps pressing the fast-forward button? A whole year just disappeared here.
I did actually get some stuff done this month (and a tracking report will be posted this weekend).

Prompt: December Battle Royal - North
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Stars
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description:
I made these for a friend for her Christmas tree. One in pink for her pink-crazy princess daughter, and one in blue for her 3-months old son. This project fits the prompt in more ways than one - first, there's the whole Christmas - North Pole thing, but that's not why I chose North. My friend is Norwegian, which is definitely north of here. But also, she live about 200 meters due north of where I live, which I found is an amusing interpretation for the prompt. I only have a picture of the blue star, because the pink one has been hand delivered (from my daughter to my friend's daughter) and is on their tree. I'll try to get a pic of both when I go visit her again.
