11  Wood sculpture. (warning, reminiscent of 80s! and img heavy) in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by samisadork on: December 20, 2007 07:47:05 AM
Here is a wood project I did for my 3d art class this semsester. I took the pictures outside so the vibrancy of the colors would come through. It stands about 2 feet tall. Comments and criticism welcome! Smiley

13  First attempts with shrinky dink! (First project post too!) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by samisadork on: December 20, 2007 06:02:27 AM
So, I've been lurking around this forum for a long time now, over 2 years in fact, but I've never posted a project! After seeing the cool stuff some of you make out of shrinky dink, I decided to order some. These are my first pieces. Comments welcome Smiley (I apologize in advance for the image quality, my real digital camera is down for the count)

First, A necklace!

On this pendant, I actually thought to take a picture before shrinking!

and after...

I also made a Foo Fighters guitar pic for my Fiance, but it was really hard to get a decent pic of with the camera phone. Its not splotchy looking IRL.( Im holding it up to the light so the clear space I left can be seen.)

Thanks for looking!!

~Sam
