2  Beaded Neck Pouch in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by cinderblock on: December 09, 2012 08:41:42 AM
I'm obsessed with making these neck pouches, I can't stop, they're so cute. This was my first beading project in a while so I'm really proud of how it turned out especially bc I kinda just made the pattern up as I went along:

3  I do believe in unicorns. i do. i do. i do. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by cinderblock on: September 07, 2011 05:39:30 PM
Things were looking a little blah & she was pretty sad.
Her sweater was nothing but white, without interest to be had.
The imagination whirrled & reeled for her very favorite thing,
Passing by mermaids, caves & her very favorite band.
Suddenly, "A UNICORN!" thought she.
& that is the very end.

4  Punx Crass Pants in Needlework: Completed Projects by cinderblock on: March 27, 2010 09:58:04 AM
so i was putting on my favorite pair of jeans the other day...and realized i don't have any patches or stenciles on these!! but instead of making a Crass patch i decided to just embroider it right onto the jeans:

i didn't finnish the phrase because it's sorta long but the rest would go "destroy power, not people" and now they're punx pants.

start with an action shot hahahah

it has a side zipper, and the sparkly thing around the waist is a belt

i literally got done 30 minuets before my friends showed up....nevr again last minute ever! thanks for looking ^_^

6  Re: Vintage 'dos and make-up (Come share your secrets!) in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by cinderblock on: April 06, 2009 04:19:00 PM
thanks for all the input! and i decided for the party to just go with a classic french twist, because i love audrey Hepburn but i have something new! and exciting!!!! so the other day i was at this event and Ken Pavs was there, and i was like WOOOOOOOAAAAAH! so i hopped on over and we started talking about audrey hepburn's hair, and said he wanted to do my hair in one of her styles...(my hair was yet again in a french twist again, so of course i said YES! (but he was doing everyone's hair) He explained to me how to do it over my head so i will try and transfer that here. It's Audrey's do in the last scene from Breakfast At Tiffany's where she is searching for Cat so Enjoy my pretties! (you will need an extension thingy for this...unless you have lost of hair then just curl the piggies when you are all done)
other than that it's pretty self explanitory just follow the pictures!:

(please excuse my outof focus eyes...i'm blind as a bat)

AHHHHH...i love him!!!

ANNNNNNND.....TADA!!!! if you want more details i can tell you but here "below" is Audrey's version the best i could find but it's all wet...just watch the movie:

i have a maskqurade (lack of spelling skills even after days of googleing) sweet-sixteen to go to and i want a classy hairstyle...and i was thinking about doing a classy Kate Winslet from Titanic do, but does anyone know anyother dos that would be better for this sort of thing? oh and i have a cow-lick that make my bangs naturally go to the side and CANNOT be tamed to lay flat (if that was important)

here is what my hair looks like:

it's like if a farrah faucett (spelling again...ugh) and a mullet had a baby...i call it my "chic mullet"....this is the best pic i could find, so ignore the obnoxious (yay spelling!) posed face it's all i had.

it's really layered in the back, but the shortest layer comes just above the shoulders, so i'd say it's a medium cut??? i don't know any hair lingo except french twist, and tease...

oh which reminds me after all that ramblingness, what is a plait??? i saw that in a beehive tute a few pages back and i have no idea what that is

one more question...if you made it this far (i'm a hairstyle baby, i just go au natural always except for the occasional french twist or pony) would i look good with a Twiggy cut???

okay now i'm done i PROMISE haha ^_^

9  Crown Prince(ss) of Gotham (self portrait) in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by cinderblock on: November 14, 2008 04:04:58 PM
as of right now in Drawing Painting I we are doing a self portrait unit and i wanted to come up with a really origonal idea that no one else in  my class would come up with. as i was working on a bleak typical face sketch my table was joking about how it looked like a mug shot....and then i saw the joker in my head Shocked and put that horribly drab muggy sketch away and drew this: (right is origional and left is the drawin)

so what do you think? I'm going to go over the rest of the leftover pencile parts with black colored pencil...i haven't quiet finnished yet but i'm excited about it so i posted as soon as it look almost done!!! I think I'm going to leave it black and white to contrast with the makeup. sorry but i'm a bit talkative today and getting that photo on here took forever, no lie this took me 2 hours plus some!...vista sucks ._.  Wink

i was planning on putting a bigger picture on but....well as my computer wants to almost crash everytime i try to do something i will give it a rest for today and try again tomorrow
