11  Purple Fur????? in What the heck can I do with THIS? by FeeSewBug on: January 28, 2009 01:44:02 PM
Hi,
This was originally a teeny little bag. I totally hated it, so I carefully unpicked the stitching and now I have a 8 inch high by 15 inch wide piece of fur.
I don't even know what kind of fur it is, but I know its real!

Any ideas?!!!!

(yeah it is on the toilet but it's the only place in the house with good lighting!)

12  Making a stencil? in Stenciling: Discussion and Questions by FeeSewBug on: January 21, 2009 12:54:18 PM
Hi
I would like to make this image into a stencil, the background isn't included, I just want the face but i don't know how to make this into a stencil. I'm using a sheet of acetate instead of baking paper as I would like to re use it.
This is for my boyfriend for valentines, so I would really appreciate any help!!!

Heres the image!

13  Navy Ribbon and Button Necklace! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by FeeSewBug on: October 27, 2008 05:13:59 PM
Made from thin navy ribbon and a collection of blue buttons, a prezzie for me maw.
I like it but i think perhaps braiding the strands and having them kinda the same length might make it sit better.

Tell me what you guys think!

14  Button Necklace!!!! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by FeeSewBug on: October 09, 2008 02:23:46 PM
Hi!
This is my first go at jewellery!!  I totally love buttons so it seemed like a good idea.
I used jumprings, lobster clasp, Buttons and some of the pins you thread beads on to tie bigger buttons together.
It's not as impressive as I wanted it to be, it's lacking something.
I'm also frightened of the jump rings opening and the whole thing falling apart!
Still some bigger buttons to add but it's almost complete.
Pictures!!

I'd like to hear what you guys think!
cheers

and i figured it would be kinda cool to go as the bride of frankenstein
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll82/fee-fee-fiona/bride_of_frankenstein_elsa_lanchest.jpg

for halloween. Whats your opinions? I have an idea about the wig also, buying floristry foam and pinning all the hair up and spray painting the white lighting strike. Also for the arms painting white stockings to look like bandages.....what do you guys think?
Any other suggestions for costumes based on the dress?
Thanks for any comments or suggestions

16  Re: Let's see your sewing machine!! in Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions by FeeSewBug on: August 03, 2008 10:26:00 AM

I got my machine from a classmate last year, It's a singer melodie and it's all rather french. It didn't come with a book or any attatchments just a straight sewing foot(which has started to wobble) and a three pronged plug that doesn't fit very well.
Still it sews in a straight line and does a zig-zag. It does have a button hole stitch on it but i don't know how to work it.
I'm thinking about replacing it with a sewing and embroidery machine, possibly a janome memory craft as i'm going into my second year of a textile course.

18  Re: Show Off Your Hair! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by FeeSewBug on: July 06, 2008 06:21:15 AM

Halloween 2004, brown with red.

October 2007ish, purpleish ontop with pink underneath. I totally loved this but my dark hair grows so quick it was a pain in the butt to keep!

My hair as it is now, short and a little bit mental(natural kinks, damn you!)

19  Imperial Japan Flag Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by FeeSewBug on: July 03, 2008 05:52:52 AM
Exactly what it says on the tin(title bar, ha)
I found a japanese flag and decided it would make a rather cool dress, there is no zipper in yet or a hem but it's looking gooooooood! Smiley
comments and the like are welcome, and thanks to Cinderwench for the help with the bust bit, doesn't sit perfect but nearly is good enough for me.
