32  Re: Handstamping Metal Pendants in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by Gemcraft on: January 30, 2008 01:11:57 PM
Heres a few examples of stuff I have done
I havnt worked with stamps - these are both made by making shapes with thin beading wire and using this to create an impression in silver taping it in place with masking tape

This one has been put through a roller and is now a pendant

This one was an experiement - I dont have my own rolling mill so this is done using a hammer - you can see where i didnt totally cover the silver with tape and it has been marked!

I LOVE all the inchies on here!!
Theres so many different ways of doing them - I like the fabric idea Homerof2

Some peoples have such great pictures on them - Im afraid mine are a bit abstract - heres the progress so far

I'm starting off making LOADS and then whittling them doen step by step to the best ones then I have loads of room for experimenting and making a mess!
I have done all my backgrounds now - here is a photo of just one of each different type, a combination of magazines, craft papers, chocolate wrappers, ink pads, stamping anf embossing so far.

This year my husband and I decided to make a gingerbread house - we got a pattern off the internet for the basic construction but the rest is our design

It is coming with us to my parents on Christmas day and I hope it survives the trip!!
