1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Yoshi hoodie (lot of pics) on: March 20, 2012 01:13:16 PM
Thank you for your nice comments !

Well yes, I used this pattern
http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/steffi
But i did'nt use the sleeves, i modified the armhole, and the hood is completely home made Smiley

I think any jacket pattern in green with a lot of details and a Yoshi hood will do the trick Wink

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Yoshi hoodie (lot of pics) on: March 07, 2012 05:03:54 PM
Well, I suck at Mario but Yoshi is the cutest dino of the whole evolution !

I had the idea to make this hoodie a long time ago and I spend a lot of time thinking about all the details I could add to make it just the way I want.

Here it is !

The Yoshi hood

You couldn't think about Yoshi without his cute eggs, so I put them on elbows

The sleeve's edges are brown and orange like Yoshi's boots, and I also made two ziped pockets (matching colors, almost invisible :p ) just because I hate to have nowhere to put my hands.

Last Yoshi detail inside the hood : feel like you're into the egg Cheesy

Hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed sewing it !
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Union Jack (skirt, leggins & bag) on: March 28, 2011 04:02:52 PM
Thank you for your nice comments Smiley

how did you do the union jacks? If you sewed it all together it must have been a ton of work!

The stripes of the Union jacks are made with bias, so i needed a lot of bias but no, it's not a ton of work (honestly i did'nt do the bias myself...) straight stiches, full speed, quick & clean !

I didn't post here for years... So this is my come back on craftser Smiley

Few months ago I made a Union Jack bag, and someone asked me to make a mini-skirt and leggings to match with the bag, so of course I did, and here is the result !

French girls (not all of them but a lot) love this flag... and i think i'm one of them Tongue
It was really fun to make !

Thanks to my anonymous volunteer for the pics Wink
