This is a gift fot a friend who goes to renn faires regularly. Since most of her garb is muted shades of blue, I decided to make her a snood to go with it. Yarn is Simply Soft in "Country Blue".
Very easy pattern (and my first attempt at writing out a pattern that someone else can follow!)
On US size 6 circular or DPNs, cast on 72 stitches.
Rows 1-3 are k1p1 rib
Row 4: k9, yo, k9, yo, repeat til end of row
Row 5: knit
Row 6: k10, yo, k10, yo, repeat til end of row
Row 7: knit
Row 8: k11, yo, k11, yo, repeat til end of row
Row 9: knit
You will have 96 stitches on your needles.
Fishnet Lace pattern: Row 10 and all even rows: k2tog, yo, til end of round ending with a yo
Row 11 and all odd rows: Knit
Work in fishnet lace until lace portion is 11 inches ending in an odd row (all knit)
Then:
k2tog all the way around (you will have 48 stitches)
Repeat this round until you have 6 stitches. Bind off.
Weave in ends.
