41  Sushi, anyone? in Needlework: Completed Projects by goodtimegirl on: September 21, 2008 01:40:25 PM
My hubby left me to go to a wedding. I stayed home because I wasn't feeling well. I ended up watching Penelope and sewing. I was hungry for sushi, but he took the car...so, this is what I came up with:

I'm really proud of my French knots. It's the first time I've done them successfully.

Here he is next to my needle to give you some size perspective. He's small and cute. And for some reason I've decided he's a boy.

42  Ugly and ill-fitting + polka dots = <3 in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by goodtimegirl on: August 12, 2008 03:31:56 PM
I bought this skirt for a wedding and hated the skirt and the fit.

I added some some polka-dotted fabric.

Now the skirt is slightly too large, but way cute and way more me!

43  Rubber Ducky...you're the one. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by goodtimegirl on: August 12, 2008 03:26:31 PM
One of my favorite colleagues retired, so, of course, I had to make her retirement gift. She knits, and I wanted to make her a large tote to carry her things. She has a duck collection, so I wanted to find some way to integrate ducks into the tote. I'm pretty proud of the end result.
