171  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: "Star Wars" knitting patterns on: July 27, 2004 09:29:16 AM
These are great, melidomi!   Grin

I was having trouble figuring out how to cubize the Imperial logo--it's so round and spokey. Yay you!!
It's for my husband, too.   Cheesy  I was thinking a scarf, with a TIE Interceptor on one end and the Imperial logo on the other.  I've never done intarsia before though (I'm about to start the Skully Sweater in "SnB"), so they might end up on the sleeves of a sweater, depending on how intarsia looks on the back.  Oh, duh, or double over on the scarf, like I did for the Harry Potter one I made.  I look forward to getting started (when the WIP pile thins out a bit, hehe).

Does anyone have any patterns based on "Star Wars"?  I found a few fairisle ones (stormtrooper helmet, R2-D2, ATST, ATAT--I'm sure a few of you have found the same ones), but nothing along the lines of an Imperial insignia.  I'm not cool enough to design it myself at the moment.
The Imperial insignia is really what I'm after, although I'd like to see more, if anyone had come up with any.
